Love this coffee. Sam’s online is the only place I am able to find it at a decent price. Would recommend

We've gotten accustomed to Member's Mark and Community Brands of coffee and this just doesn't measure up. The price was great.

Great deal

Wow, I was pleasantly surprised how good this coffee is. It comes in a metal can and when you open it, gosh, that beautiful aroma of fresh ground coffee smells so good! When I tasted it, it had a smooth somewhat bold flavor. This is now my "go to" coffee. Just amazing! If you want to try something different, Hills Brothers is worth it!

The price for the volume of the coffee you get is great. Also, when it is first brewed, it tastes excellent. However, when it sits in the coffee pot longer than a half hour, it starts to get really sludgy and grimy and poor quality. I would not buy this again. I’m using 2 tablespoons for 5 cups of coffee so it’s not like I’m using too much to cause the grimy coffee.

I was a longtime Folger's drinker, then bounced from brand to brand, looking for something better that didn't cost an arm and a leg. I found plenty of superior coffees, but they all were on the pricey side. After years of sacrificing either flavor or budget, I found myself staring at the offerings in the coffee aisle and I suddenly remembered seeing Hills Bros. coffee in Grandma's kitchen for years when I was a boy. I had to give it a try -- and am glad I finally did. I really like the flavor of this coffee. It's a good, honest, full-flavored coffee without bitterness or pretense (no nuts, sweets, or other flavors added). No more searching; I'm home again.

I had been using Folgers Classic Roast, also a medium roast coffee. I switched to Folgers because my daughter-in law and sister use it, But, I like the Hills Bros better, Richer flavor, not bitter like Folgers and I am able to use less coffee per 8 cup pot, level Tbs instead of heaping Tbs with the Folgers. A great coffee and 80 cents cheaper. I should of stayed with Hills Bros. Also, why does Folgers tell you to store it in the frig and Hills Bros tells you to store in a cool dry place? I wonder if storing the coffee in the frig affects the taste. Not going to do that anymore.

I used to be a coffee snob. Then life happens and I simply couldn't afford the expensive coffees anymore. I still appreciate a good quality cup of coffee. This is the American standard cup of coffee. Smooth, but with a sharp note of Robusta coffee beans. This coffee has a good amount of caffeine. Gets you going, tastes great, consistent, and good quality. If you are used to Starbucks single origin bean like Blue Mountain Jamaican, or Sumatra or some other special coffee then you may want to skip this. This is real coffee for working folks. I think it tastes great and has a really good roast and quality.

Not anything to brag about, we only bought this brand because it was the same price for same amount as our usual brand which was out of stock BUT won’t buy it again it’s bitter and dark tasting and had aftertaste we had to dilute with water and add sugar to even drink. Wish it was better beings how it is AMERICAN MADE
