Tastes like Folgers to us. We got it because the only other brand available was Maxwell house and we don't prefer that. Was pleasantly surprised with the taste. Think we will get this anytime it is available

My husband drinks Hills Bros. coffee. He prefers this brand over other coffee brands as he likes coffee made in a drip coffee maker. The can is bigger for about the same price as the grocery store’s smaller can.

Hadn't had Hills Bros. coffee in a while. Bought it for our office's community coffee pot. Everyone appears to like it. The flavor is good, consistent and not bitter. And for the price, a good value, too.

Hills Bros. Coffee has a surprisingly excellent roast coffee bean taste. The entire first floor in my house smells like Welcome Friends whenever I brew a pot. What a lovely feeling this scent brings! Make muffins in the oven and brew a pot yourself. This is my favorite therapy!!

I had been using Folgers Classic Roast, also a medium roast coffee. I switched to Folgers because my daughter-in law and sister use it, But, I like the Hills Bros better, Richer flavor, not bitter like Folgers and I am able to use less coffee per 8 cup pot, level Tbs instead of heaping Tbs with the Folgers. A great coffee and 80 cents cheaper. I should of stayed with Hills Bros. Also, why does Folgers tell you to store it in the frig and Hills Bros tells you to store in a cool dry place? I wonder if storing the coffee in the frig affects the taste. Not going to do that anymore.

I was a longtime Folger's drinker, then bounced from brand to brand, looking for something better that didn't cost an arm and a leg. I found plenty of superior coffees, but they all were on the pricey side. After years of sacrificing either flavor or budget, I found myself staring at the offerings in the coffee aisle and I suddenly remembered seeing Hills Bros. coffee in Grandma's kitchen for years when I was a boy. I had to give it a try -- and am glad I finally did. I really like the flavor of this coffee. It's a good, honest, full-flavored coffee without bitterness or pretense (no nuts, sweets, or other flavors added). No more searching; I'm home again.
