The pouches maintain the integrity of the chicken inside until ready to use — so you can simply cut with scissors or kitchen shears, and place into a bowl or pan. No need to touch the chicken. Our newer saddle packages have perforated pouches, to easily use what’s immediately needed, and neatly and efficiently store the rest in the refrigerator or freezer. No need to rewrap and re-package opened chicken, like in the past. We’ve also made sure there are two pieces of chicken breasts per pouch so consumers can more easily calculate the number of packages they’ll need to serve.
