Hair in chicken
I settled for buying this chicken after Sam's Club stopped selling George's Chicken but I will not be buying this again. Quality wise, it's not as good but in an effort to make fewer stops, I bought it. Sometimes we'll get really rubbery or tough pieces. What did it for me is that I found a hair in the fat of one of the breasts that I just opened.
Worth the trip
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chicken was perfect! A beautiful pack of chicken, hardly needed trimming. Cooked excellent, was not tough at all. Have recently had so many issues with top name brands with toughness of chicken. Made a delicious lemon cream pasta with this chicken and would go back to Sam’s Club for my chicken from now on!
Horrible packaging will not buy again!
Absolutely horrible packaging, product filled with liquid. Will not purchase again. Waste we do not use 2 breast each time that is why we liked the large pack with multiple singe breats we packed as we needed the product divided. We will be purchasing our chicken elsewhere. Horrible decision to go with this packaging and to switch products!

Bring back the old packaging please!
I agree with many other reviews asking to go back to the original packaging. Somehow the chicken seems different, and not in a good way. I've bought it twice, and each time it's been slimy, watery and a really strange texture. The sizes are all different which makes cooking difficult. The glue dots on the outside of the package stick again randomly to itself and my gloves, which makes prep difficult. It takes so much longer to open all the packages just to get to the chicken. Please go back to the old pricing, and packaging!

Inconsistent lately
A few years ago, I would have given these 5 stars, but lately I've been having problems with them: The rubber cement that holds the separate pouches together can sometimes tear the pouch and allow chicken juice to leak out. When thawing from frozen, the chicken is sitting in the empty bag as I thaw it. Sometimes the chicken is rubbery, having a woody breast. Not from overcooking, just a weird texture.
Sam’s Club favorite
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a must buy every time I go to Sam’s Club! It’s separated into 4 individual packages which makes them so much easier to freeze and portion. Texture is always great i’ve never had any complaints.
No not like
I hate that sams changed from fresh pack to this new packaging. The chicken is small, and I HATE the texture. I guess I'm back to buying chicken elsewhere. the chicken thighs are the same pack of three two tiny ones and one medium-sized bad move Sam's
Terrible Packaging
Sam's chicken ALWAYS got rave review but with this style packaging chicken becomes waterlogged. Can't identify quantity of breasts in the package. Seperating frozen packages can result in tearing. Compare the picture of the old family package with the picture of the new style package. I can't believe you had consumers in mind when you changed the packaging. Let me know when you change it back.

Worst change ever Sam's Club
The change is packaging is a fail. It takes forever to open. They are a mess to deal with, and I am getting 1/3 less chicken. I liked being able to buy 6-7lbs of chicken to cook up for my family for dinners for the week. Or when having a large gathering get the big package at Sam's was a great advantage. Now you are the same amounts as other stores amd similar price, but with awful packaging. There is no longer an advantage to buying it from Sam's Club. I'll be buying my chicken elsewhere from now on. Go back to the previous package. It was so much better!

Chicken cut with dull scissors
The chicken breasts are nowhere near the same size in a package. And they look like they were cut by a two year old with a dull pair of scissors. I'd rather pay a bit more rather than you saving money by hiring fewer butches. I just read another review and your cut and paste response illustrates that you don't care about your customers. Your response was the same line of crap you give everyone and it never addressed here complaint, which was legit. You put so much glue on the packages that it is often impossible to separate the packages without tearing them open. But your response had to do with you supposedly trying to minimize your environmental impact. I can afford better chicken in another store. As long as you continue to see this crap, I'll glad pay more somewhere else.
