I agree with many other reviews asking to go back to the original packaging. Somehow the chicken seems different, and not in a good way. I've bought it twice, and each time it's been slimy, watery and a really strange texture. The sizes are all different which makes cooking difficult. The glue dots on the outside of the package stick again randomly to itself and my gloves, which makes prep difficult. It takes so much longer to open all the packages just to get to the chicken. Please go back to the old pricing, and packaging!

While I know the chicken was not butchered in store this stuff is just disappointing. It's slimy and massive difference in sizes of the breasts in the packages. It was tough right out of the package and didn't get better after cooking. I'll be going elsewhere for chicken from now on.

The breasts were thick enough to make a high-quality dinner and I liked that they were skin- less and easy to cook with, I would definitely purchase this brand again as I thought it tasted amazing and cooked up great!

i have eaten boneless, skinless chicken breasts almost every night after seeing a nutritionist (2 years). i cut it into thin one inch squares. after cooking i mix with salsa and parmesan cheese. if the last package (first new) i purchased is the future of chicken, i will change my diet. i will be purchasing chicken at the other store i often shop at. can i articulate why---no but i will not buy more in the new wrapper.

My family and I make it a point to try and eat clean. I have purchased fresh chicken breast from Sam's for years in a yellow foam flat container covered with plastic wrap. I buy it in bulk usually at least four packages at a time. The last time we purchased it was in this new quarterpack, shrink wrap, with a pad wrapped around the chicken breasts. Not only could I not see what I was purchasing, there was definitely less clean breasts in these packages, in other words much more fat on the breast. The packaging was horrible to deal with and I won't be buying them again at Sam's if this packaging continues. I'll pay a little more somewhere else to avoid this packaging. I cannot think that this type of packaging including vacuum packaging can save you any money compared to the other packaging. Please, please, please go back to the old packaging.

I bought this yesterday , May 12th. The packaging was terrible, the chicken was slimey and covered with fat, When I tried to cut the fat off of the chicken, the breast just tore like a wet paper sack. Go back to the chicken breast you use to carry and get rid of this stuff.. I will never buy it again.

Sam's chicken ALWAYS got rave review but with this style packaging chicken becomes waterlogged. Can't identify quantity of breasts in the package. Seperating frozen packages can result in tearing. Compare the picture of the old family package with the picture of the new style package. I can't believe you had consumers in mind when you changed the packaging. Let me know when you change it back.

These were HORRIBLE. I have to question if this is real meat. The chicken just shredded apart when it was taken out of the package. I decided to cook anyway and I was not comfortable eating this. When you barely touch the cooked chicken, it shredded. I don’t think this is real!

I used to buy the chicken every week here at Sam's. It was a very convenient great price. But now, since the packaging has changed. You really do not know what you are buying. It comes in four sections of the packaged breast chicken. Some have two pieces of breast and some only one. Oftentimes, when you open them up, the breast is rolled in big chunks of fat. It seems that we are buying more fat of the breast than the meat price pound. It's a really bad inconvenience. I had a package that in the four pouches, one breast was rotten. The expiration on the package is for 7/12/24... and it is 7/9/2024. This is not the first time this has happened. Yes, I should probably go to the store and physically show them, but its hard at times for transportation purposes and in the middle of cooking. I miss and preferred the old way of packaging as we the costumers can see what we are buying.

The change is packaging is a fail. It takes forever to open. They are a mess to deal with, and I am getting 1/3 less chicken. I liked being able to buy 6-7lbs of chicken to cook up for my family for dinners for the week. Or when having a large gathering get the big package at Sam's was a great advantage. Now you are the same amounts as other stores amd similar price, but with awful packaging. There is no longer an advantage to buying it from Sam's Club. I'll be buying my chicken elsewhere from now on. Go back to the previous package. It was so much better!
