- 2 out of 5 stars review9/17/2023I bought this chicken yesterday and it was the first time for the new packaging. When I got it home, one of the packages had leaked. It must be a very small hole because I couldn't find a hole, but noticed the juices in the one package was gone. When I filled it with water to find the leak, although I couldn't see a hole, it had a slow drip at one of the corners. I decided to toss those because the texture seemed off, but I kept the others since the packages were intact with juices inside. I had to open them to see they were packaged two to a package. I also found it difficult to pull the packages apart with the dab of blue in the middle of the packages. I was worried I would damage the package so I repackaged them before I froze the...
Package leaked
VivHMember's MarkThank you for reaching out to us, and for all the great detail you’ve provided regarding your experience with Member’s Mark c... - 4 out of 5 stars review8/11/2025I hate this packaging. It is so hard to get into, makes huge messes and is just gross. Whoever came up with this way of packaging chicken should be fired! Please go back to the chicken in the Styrofoam flat package. Chicken is ok - nothing special-- it's just the packaging that deters me from buying it. You'd switched to this and then went back to the styrofoam, but now back to this awful one. :(
HATE the packaging
BP - 4 out of 5 stars review6/24/2024I've always bought the Sam's chicken breast in the past and found them to be excellent quality. The chicken breasts in this new style of packaging remain excellent quality and decent size. The chicken had little fat and was tender and moist. These are more expensive than the previous family style packaging which I assume can be partially attributed to the new style of packaging thus the 4 stars instead of 5. I liked the option of the old packaging so I could repack into 3-4 breasts per pack using my vacuum sealer. The chicken itself is good quality.
Quality chicken breasts
Shelly480 - 5 out of 5 stars review6/7/2024I bought these chicken breasts for the first time a couple of weeks ago and I am very pleased. The quality of the chicken is my priority and was not disappointed at all! The chicken breasts are very well trimmed and free of added hormones. I was greatly impressed with the packaging! Very consistent size/weight in each pouch perfect for freezing and already portioned. I am most certainly buying them on a regular basis from now on and will absolutely recommend them!
Great Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
Hatch green Chile cheese - 1 out of 5 stars review12/22/2023We have purchased the generic Member Mark Chicken breast in the new packaging for some time. Each time we have notices the product appears to be seconds, pieces, or scraps from the processing line. The product is also full of liquid and fat. That makes me real skeptical that it is wholesome. The cuts are not always full chicken breasts, limiting the use to basic cutter and canner recipes. It resembles the canned chicken I have attempted to use. It is definitely lower in standards than what used to be sold under the member mark label. Yes, it is a cheaper price than competitor's or even the label "Rosie" that sells for almost twice as much as the member mark label shown to be available through Sam's. The label indicated as "Rosie" is ...
Questionable Quality of Fresh Chicken Cuts
Skeptical - 1 out of 5 stars review10/9/2023I do not like this new packaging. The chicken seems water-logged, it's really gross. And they are very hard to open. I've had numerous leaks in the package when trying to store them. Before, with the old packaging, I could just cut the full package, prep and remove the extra fat and parts and freeze as needed. Now prep time is increased as I cannot do it all in one fell swoop. I won't buy chicken here anymore, unfortunately.
The worst

The glue is so strong, holding 2 of the squares together that I have to rip 2 open to get them separated, but I only want to open one square. Seriously....is there not a better way to package? I can't bring myself to buy it anymore. Getting mine from Aldi now.
Frustrating packaging.
SWhite3 - 3 out of 5 stars review2/13/2025I used to buy the brand in the Forrester Farmers Market branded breasts when the Sam's ones were still in the yellow styro trays. Lately they have been packaging them in this style and I'm not much of a fan for one specific reason. It just seems that some of them are packaged better than others. Using this type of packaging you would expect that they would be vacuum sealed and have no air inside of the package. That's simply not always the case. I have to sort through quite a few to find one that is fully sealed. I worry about air getting inside and the quality and safety of the meat after that happens. I have been in the store when the staff are stocking the chicken up, and they are always sorta rough on the packaging, which is my theory o...
Worried about air tight seal integrity
