Can’t really see what you’re getting with this kind of packaging so sometimes the chicken isn’t great quality and you won’t know until you open it and I’m tired of taking the gamble on it. It feels like such a waste. I feel like since the switch to this packaging the quality of chicken has been consistent worse (lots of fat, large inconsistency in sizing, and sometimes off bits in lots of pieces that just don’t look okay to eat) Also, the packaging is punctured or torn much more easily, especially when trying to remove the adhesive between the two bundles, than when it’s in a tray so if I buy this I often have to repackage it before I even plan to use it for the first time. I just buy my chicken elsewhere now.

I love the price but with me freezing it before the date suggested and what not, I don’t get the best bang for my buck. I put items like these in my inulated bag and go home pretty imminently and the last few toes, at least one pack was foul. I’m talking thick yellow juice and fiul smell. I threw them out but I’d be willing to give this one more try. Maybe I need to get packs towards the back and bottom of this section.

The chicken itself is fine. It’s the new packaging I can’t stand. If I’m going to Sam’s for meat, it probably means I need a large quantity so the tear-apart packs are a minor convenience that don’t really do anything for me. More importantly, getting into these packages is a hassles and usually results in raw chicken juice spilling all over. It would be so much easier to have the standard flat plastic-wrapped tray.

Picked up a package just to try and see the difference. 1. Butchering is the worst I've ever seen, looks like a 2 year old cut this up. 2. Added juices aka broth means added salt and preservatives! For a household on low sodium this is not good and didn't notice it at the time I bought this. 3. Packaging is incredibly wasteful. Yep, I'll be paying more for all natural and nothing added from my local butcher from now on!

Wonderful quality chicken in the dumbest packaging possible. The new packaging is in four separate chambers, which should allow you to only open what you need for a meal. Unfortunately, the chambers are glued together, back to back and they can't be separated. As a result, you have to use both at the same time or else you're stuck with a leaking bag of chicken juice stuck to an unopened bag of chicken in the fridge.

This new version is a complete rip off!!! You are getting less chicken for the same amount of money as the previous version. They have a tray that is soaked in water to add extra weight & have put less chicken in the package. DO NOT BUY! YOU WILL REGRET IT!

i have eaten boneless, skinless chicken breasts almost every night after seeing a nutritionist (2 years). i cut it into thin one inch squares. after cooking i mix with salsa and parmesan cheese. if the last package (first new) i purchased is the future of chicken, i will change my diet. i will be purchasing chicken at the other store i often shop at. can i articulate why---no but i will not buy more in the new wrapper.

Standard chicken breast in reasonable portioned sizes. Just a little on the dry side when cooked
