The chicken itself is good if you happen to get a bag that isn’t leaking. The glue used on the packaging causes rips when you try to get it off so you can freeze the packs flat. Just needs a redo. The old packaging wasn’t bad.

this was the most disgusting chicken I have come by - the edges are all folded over to hide the shredded , flaky chicken . this new packaging really helps hide the bad spots in the bird -

The packaging makes it tough to get the chicken out, and some of the breasts don't look as full. They seem smaller than the ones I was buying in the yellow foam package with just some plastic over the top.

Cuts of meat seem to be of lesser quality with each purchase. More fat, more gristle, just more of the yucky part and less of just a clean cut of breast meat.

Really love the pre-packaged individual portions. Makes it super easy to toss the ones you don't use into the freezer. Quality is solid and the price is very good.

This is awful since the packaging change. Go back to the other vendor and packaging. I’m now exploring other options and I used to only buy chicken from Sam’s. In fact the chicken was the main reason I kept my membership, I’m now considering not renewing as well.

Chicken is a major component of our family diet with breasts and thighs being our favorite. We are always searching for recipes that produce tender, moist chicken. This Member's Mark product certainly met the "mark!!". Convenient packaging (four packs of approximately 1 1/4 lbs each). We consumed one of the packages while still fresh. The appearance of the chicken was excellent and appealing. The remaining 3 packages were easy to freeze for future use.

We always buy our chicken breasts at Sams Club in the white foam trays. They weren't available so we decided to try the chicken breasts in the pouchs. We were dissatisfied with the new packaging because there was no way to know what you were buying. There was an uneven number of breasts in each section of the pouch. Also, these were smaller then the ones in the previous packaging and the sizes of the breasts were uneven. We usually put the breasts in ziplock bags and thaw how many we need. for the meal. We had to thaw the pouch then open it in order to separate the breasts and see how many there were. The freshness and taste were fine, but the packaging and inability to know what is in the package was a no-go for us.

I do kind of miss when the chicken wasn't packaged this way but that's how it be sometimes. Though, it is kind of convenient to have it packaged like this because it doesn't get freezer burnt and sometimes the chicken is still a little frozen so I don't feel like I have to worry about it as much. I do wish that they made it easier to pull apart, though. Sometimes the glue adheres it is incredibly difficult to get a part and then the thing you use to pull apart the individual packages will rip the surrounding packs of chicken so that isn't fun.

The price is good but this brand replaced a good product that was higher quantity and was packaged much better and allowed you to at least get an idea of what you were buying. It’s hit and miss on the breast sizes and they appear more torn from the ribs than cut. You really need to make sure the vacuum was not lost from the package, which is surprising giving how difficult it is to open the package. Hopefully the older brand will return but at least these are priced right.
