Not only does it offer good dynamic suction, but also it has edge-detecting technology also picks up dirt along the edges of any room. The Shark Cordless Detect amazingly self-empties into a charging station that holds up to 30 days of collected dirt, making cleaning the vacuum itself a breeze! The only thing I can say is a con of this vacuum is the battery life, which is really short especially compared to the 4.5 hour charging time.

The standout feature for me is its self-emptying dustbin. I love that I don't have to worry about constantly emptying it; the vacuum takes care of that on its own, which is a huge time-saver. The detection technology is pretty impressive too. It adjusts the suction power automatically depending on whether it's on carpet or hardwood, and it handles both with ease. My floors have never looked cleaner, and I appreciate not having to fiddle with settings when transitioning from my hardwood floors to various area rugs throughout the house. It is also helpful if your house has multiple flooring types like mine which contains hardwood, carpet, tile, and area rugs. The suction power is strong enough to pick up everything from pet hair to larger bits of debris, and the HEPA filter does a great job of trapping allergens. This has been a game-changer for me, especially during allergy season. There are multiple filters throughout the unit and base station for added protection. One thing I noticed is that it’s a bit bulkier than some other models I've used, but I don't mind because the performance and convenience far outweigh this minor issue. Plus, it operates quietly, so I can clean without disturbing the entire household. One drawback is that the size of the base station does add to the overall footprint and it's not easily hidden out of sight when not in use. It comes with 3 additional attachments and a small fabric bag for storage. While the storage for the additional attachments could definitely be better, it doesn't detract from the units ability to do it's job and clean. Overall, I'm really happy with the Shark Detect Clean & Empty vacuum. It’s made cleaning so much easier and more efficient, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, low-maintenance vacuum.

Using this vacuum feels like I’m in the future, with how it measures how much dust is on the floor, the auto-emptying feature, the lights, etc. The vacuum is loud but honestly I don’t mind that, that’s how i know it’s doing an 11/10 job. Also nice simple set of attachments. Worth the money.

It automatically empties the trash when I place it on the charge, which I love. However, the trash container is quite small, so it only suitable for a small home.

The vacuum and its parts were still in perfect condition though. This Shark Detect vacuum is, by far, the best vacuum I’ve used. My ONLY issue would be that it only vacuums moving forwards. When you pull back after going forward, instead of suctioning up dirt it simply pushes it back. For how efficient this vacuum is otherwise, that flaw is easy to deal with. The different settings, the extra parts to get into the nooks and cranny’s, it’s perfect! Cordless is a great bonus! Along with being able to empty itself and charge quietly. I’ve discovered that inside the trash bin, it somehow separates the dirt and hair. Amazing! The detect feature is fantastic. I am just amazed by this vacuum.

I vacuum multiple times a week between animals and my son and this vacuum still pulled up hair and dust I didn’t know was there! Quiet and great battery! My first and definitely not last shark product

Mystery dust cup inside of the main dirt canister…. No way to clean that .Very annoying

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this vacuum. Super light weight and has alot of nice features too. You can detach and have a hand held vacuum or vacuum the whole house. It also has a great suction system. No noise at all!
