It's a glorified slow cooker. There is 1 additional feature, "sous vide", that makes this worth purchasing. The box says it is a "bread machine"....that is a lie. It may be able to assist in proofing, but it does NOT mix the dough. I almost returned it for that alone. Buy only if you need a new one slow cooker or want a sous vide.

Would totally get 5 stars but the bake setting isnt perfect. I make buffalo chicken and normally i would remove the chicken from my instant pot mix all the ingredients and put it in a casserole dish to bake it and melt the cheese on top till its brown around the edges and i thought this machine would be perfect for this dish since i could cook it, mix it, and bake it all in one dish. It did melt the cheese but it didnt give the desired crisp around the edge that i was looking for.

I am in the process of getting rid of all my other appliances after purchasing this cooker!! I have used this cooker multiple times and am so impressed with the quality and ease of this cooker. It made the best roast beef with the carrots, potatoes, and onions. It also made a great meatloaf on the rack with potatoes on the bottom. I cooked 4 quarts of green beans for Thanksgiving. I even baked biscuits with it. The ease of cleaning is unreal. No sticking or scrubbing whatsoever!! I have bought 4 of these - 3 are Christmas presents!! Love, love, love!

I love this!! I can do all of my meal prep in one dish. I can sear my roast, saute the onions, make my rue and then put it all back together to cook! A 4lbs roast used to take all day. Now it only take 3-4 hrs on Braise. I make almost all of meals in this now. I made Banna Bread and it turned out perfect!

We have used a small cooker/oven that will brown food and a crockpot for years. We bought the Ninja Foodi 8-in-1, 8.5 Quart PossibleCooker PRO right before going camping for over two weeks. We decided to bring the Ninja Foodi 8-in-1, 8.5 Quart PossibleCooker PRO instead of the other two small appliances. It performed great. We made soups, beef tips, baked potatoes and other meals. We found out if we wanted to use the slow cooker mode to start it on high for an hour then turn it to low. The sear function is so nice. It saves one less dish to wash since the meat can be seared and onions, etc cooked down in the same machine. We have not had any bad results. It cleans up so easily and fast. Nothing has been sticking to the pot. The included rack was nice for baking potatoes. The ladle is good for soups and stews. We ordered a carrier online that keeps every thing together and strapped in for travel. I would recommend the Ninja Foodi 8-in-1, 8.5 Quart PossibleCooker PRO.

I refer to this as my magic crockpot. It has become the most used small appliance in my kitchen…and I tend to use it even more than my oven. I love how versatile and simple it is to use and how easy it is to clean. I tell everyone I know that they need one too.

I’ve only used this once as a slow cooker. I sautéed the meat in this and then added my ingredients. The high setting is definable high, and the low setting seems only a bit warmer than “Keep Warm”. The manufacturer really should have put a medium heat setting on it.

Love the features, the shape, the nice cut in price break when I bought it, the ability to use as crockpot to oven all in same pot (flexibility). It does cook quicker than my previous crockpots and I was previously informed from other owners but everyone I spoke to prior to my purchase raved about it.

I had the OG cooker & LOVED it! This thing is horrible! About the only setting it doesn't burn or start boiling is "Keep Warm". I would never trust this unit to be left unsupervised. Six # of frozen chicken breats set on low slow cook were boiling within 30 minutes!

The ninja is very versatile.
