I suffered a L1 compression fracture in January after a fall, and have had significant pain ever since. I chose the mattress based on the promise of perfect support for my back. The mattress feels luxurious, but I still wake up with an aching back. That could be because of my injury, and not the fault of the mattress, but I am disappointed, none the less.

Mattress is super comfy. I am 5foot 8 175 pounds and it is a perfect mid support mattress. I am a side sleeper and if the mattress is to soft or hard I wind up with back pain. I have had no pain with this mattress. It would be a 5 star but the workmanship on the mattress leaves a little to be desired. The cover you can tell was accidentally glued to the mattress in some spots causing the mattress to not rise completely. Also the cover is a little to large for the mattress making it too loose for the mattress. Like any foam mattress it smells awful for about a day or two till the smell goes away. If they can get the quality up just a little on the build it would be a 5 star

I was a bit spectical at first about buying a Sam's Club (Member's Mark) branded mattress at such a low price. I've always had a Sealy, Serta or a Sterns & Foster. I figured that it wouldn't be any good. But I read the reviews and decided to give it a try and boy am I glad I did! This mattress is AWESOME!!! I've had two spinal disc surgeries about 4 years ago and finding a comfortable mattress, with the right support, has been a challenge to say the least. I've been sleeping on a $2,000 Sterns & Foster for the past 4 years that was supposed to be "top of the line" in comfort, but even that mattress doesn't come anywhere close the true comfort of this one. I purchased the Queen size at about 10 in the morning and even though on the Sam's Club website it recommends that you allow the mattress a full 48 hours to conform to it's full size, mine was fully conformed in a matter of a few hours. I was able to sleep on it that same night. It was the first fully restful night's sleep I've gotten since my surgeries. It's nice and plush, but not so soft that you sink into the middle of it. It's got just the right amount of firmness for that much needed support. I've always been a hot sleeper and I found this mattress keeps me at a cool level of comfort all night long. I don't think I can say anything else about it other than it's just a really good mattress, and for the price, you just can't beat it!

So I’ve only ever owned cheap spring mattresses they were way too firm and I’ve had back problems for as long as I can remember and I’m only 27. We got this mattress and I woke up so refreshed feeling. I need something that helps my pressure points and this did it! It does not sink me in but it curves to my body very lightly. I’m a side sleeper so this helped so much. I normally wake up with side pain and not anymore. Never woke in the middle of the night like I normally do. Both my kids have memory foam already but they’re twin mattresses so when we are ready to upgrade them I’d love to buy them the Members Mark one!! I never had any issues with a smell like the other reviewer and I only waited 24 hours it got up to 12 inches immediately but I still waited a day. Thank you Sam’s for selling an affordable comfortable mattress!

Bought a cal king a year ago and am extremely happy with this mattress. I'm a side sleeper and found it a bit firm, even in ultra plush, but I bought a Serta memory foam-and-"fluff" mattress pad, which made it exquisitely comfortable. Now the mattress and sleeping is perfect and absolutely delightful for me. I love getting in the bed, so look forward to those few minutes of enjoying the mattress cushy comfort before drifting off to sleep. My 75 pound dog jumps up in the night and I don't feel it at all. I only know she did it because she is still there in the morning. LOL Will buy another, smaller, when I relocate in a couple months. You can not beat this for the price. I couldn't be any happier with it. Seriously

Mattress is Comfortable & Supportive for the money. There is better mattresses for more money but this was definitely better than the traditional spring mattress it was going to replace. Motion transfer was better than the spring mattress, but have sleep on better in hotel rooms. I natural sleep hot & this was a hot mattress. My fiancé normally sleeps cold, but she was also hot temperature wise. Already ordered more expensive mattress than has better reviews for cooling & will be returning soon. If it sleep cooler would be keeping.

I have purchased 4 of these over the last 2- 3 years and will continue to purchase them. I had my doubts based on the price point, but I was pleasantly surprised. I originally bought them for me kids and they liked them. I recently purchased one for my guest room and have slept on it the last 2 nights. I realize that I need to replace my own mattress after only 4 years because I slept so well on this one!

If firm is this soft, I would hate to imagine sleeping on the ultra plush. This mattress is so soft it is ridiculous. softer than my soft old foam mattress. returning as soon as possible. if you like soft mattresses that come delivered in an easy box rolled up- this is for you.

Husband and I love this mattress. Let it completely fill before judging. It is a plush feel on top with a medium firm feel lower layer. No sinking in. We are both hard to please with mattresses and love this one. I am a side sleeper and hubby is a combo sleeper. Just works in all positions. Very comfortable! Way to go Sam's!

This mattress is a year old. I paid $399 for it. It has already broken down on one side under the weight of a 165 lb man who does not move a lot during sleep due to disability. I have mattresses on adjustable beds that are older and have not yet broken down under my weight or the constant up and down of adjustment. I'm not very happy.
