I would like to say that we love our Pergola but I can’t. We bought this and paid for assembly, but we have yet to have it assembled. We had an appointment for May 16th and were stood up by the company Sam’s subcontracts out to. After 5 days of back and forth we have been given the run around by both Sam’s and GoConfigure. Nothing like prepaying for a service and getting nothing for it.

Just completed assembly and it looks great. Definitely needed 4 people at times to assemble the large frame parts and for installing the roof.

Amazing car port and amazing price!! Beautiful in every aspect. Stained well so it fit in with house! Love it. Wonderful quality!

We were planning DIY assembly but decided to hire GoConfigure to assemble (through Sam’s Club app). The roof dips in the center. Disappointing since paid $799 for assembly and had no way to know this would be a problem.

Beautiful replacement for my aged Pergola. Per previous reviews, I would recommend staining and sealing prior to construction. I did customize with 1 x 6 cedar ceiling, enclosed electric, and outdoor speakers.

It was a great purchase for our river front backyard. We purchased the 12’x16’. It was intimating with all of the hardware and pieces at first but, it has great instructions. It is a good value for the product. I highly recommend!

The instructions are easy, the assembly between two people although we had to wait because we were missing a piece and we had to wait until they send it, we took 4 days to assemble it.

What a fantastic gazebo. Sturdy design. Requested Assembly and they did a great job. Very professional and got it done in just one day, 8 hours or so.

I just finished construction of my Norwood 12x16. We picked the BD Norwood based on the reviews and its certified ratings for wind and snow loads. Overall, the DIY build process was great. A lot of engineering went into the design and fabrication of this product. Everything was packaged and properly identified. Nothing was damaged in shipment. The instructions were very clear but did not show how to do certain steps. A Youtube video would be helpful. I (68) did 90% of the work by myself, working 3-4 hours per day over 7 days. The hardest part was lifting and positioning the roof panels onto the structure. My wife (65) and I did this ourselves using multiple straps and step ladders to install each panel. Having additional helpers would have made the process much easier! Squaring up the structure is critical to success. At the end, we had only two bolt holes (rafter clips) that did not line up perfectly. Structurally, this gazebo is a beast and I have no doubts about its integrity. However, the appearance is probably its best feature. The gazebo is beautiful! This is a relatively easy DIY project and I would highly recommend BD as a source for any outdoor structure. Now to add the decking!
