The installation is a task!. But don’t be scared. Have a few friends ready to help. Especially when you get ready to lift the roof panels. Pay attention to the instructions and the positions of the wood/ bolts. Overall, fairly simple to install with common knowledge of building things. Beautiful outcome.

We finally finished up putting together our 12X14 Gazebo and we love it! My husband and I are in construction so we understand how things work. The instructions were really amazing, and we downloaded the 3-d instructions just to see if they were helpful. We followed every single step to a T and still ended up with one little confusing part when it came to the roof rafter. Somehow, following the instructions, we missed something because the nut locks didn't line up, so we drilled our own holes and made it work. Also somehow we were short one H06, so we used the H08 (support board) and cut it to fit. Otherwise, just the 2 of us did almost all of it. We recruited 2 neighbors when it came time to lift the roof panels up. It is beautiful and we are so glad we did it!

I think it should be said that this build will take considerable time for anyone who has not built one of these before. The amount fasteners and pieces in the kit is pretty daunting at first. 3 people is probably the right number for efficient assembly. I did it with 2 and some of it just myself. point of note I also raised mine 12" on pilings which added some complexity to the assembly.

Hi everyone buying the Brindlewood. We just put 12x10 Gazebo together. 1 This was a very time consuming process forsure with 2 of us being in construction for many years lets say. 2nd instruction were not so easy but we got through it . 3rd make sure you separate wood and also put some clear coat on all wood. (Wood is very soft too) 4th make sure you have everything i was missing some screws so i had to run to hardware store HD/lowes. NOW what we found out was some of board were not stright and we found out this whe putting together and when you go to put bolts through you need a drill forsure. So i love the way it look but i would check everything before you build one yourself agin not bad and not easy but 2 people can do it . Also we found put roof on last was easer then putting it on on the ground and 2 of us lefting it up. Anyway

A great replacement for our old pergola. Now we can enjoy our deck even in the rain. Two of us unpacked the kit and didn’t notice one piece missing. Kudos to customer service who shipped the piece in two days! Took two of us about 18 hours to assemble, with a little help from a third. Now if it stands up to upstate NY snow it’ll be a total winner.

I had the open area where we wanted to build some type of pergola solution. I really didn’t want something that would be attached to the house since our home is historic 140 year old farm house. So found this 16x12 pergola, I didn’t want to spend a bunch of money hiring a crew so I built it myself using a material lift. Instructions were easy to follow and I felt like the structure was well thought out, it’s elegant enough where it doesn’t feel like a do it your self Pergola. I’m considering buying smaller version for an outdoor grilling kitchen. I highly recommend this product it shipped quick and easy.

I was very impressed with the quality of the Brindlewoood Gazebo , assembled by my self with some help from my wife , quality is really high, and if I had any questions, the service was absolutely fantastic, needed additional support, got it, very professional company to deal with, highly recommended. We just assembled our 16x12 Norwood and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Assembly took about a day and a half for 2 guys. The only real issues we had were when we didn’t understand what the instructions wanted us to do and did things the wrong way ( following the instructions is critical with anything to do with the roof panels). If we were to do another one it would go much smoother. The wood all looks great, the hardware is substantially made, all the parts were in the kit, and everything fit like it was supposed to.

At least two ladders needed. More than two people when putting the skeletal portion together and roof in place. Very helpful it was pre drilled and the holes matched up pretty much perfectly.

Beautiful! Good quality materials and everything fit together nicely. My husband and I were able to assemble by ourselves. Very pleased with our purchase!
