This gazebo was the perfect addition to our backyard. It is sturdy and very well made. The instructions and BILT app were easy to follow and our family of 5 put it together over a weekend. We ended up staining our deck the same color as the Norwood Gazebo because the wood accents the black hardware so well. We couldn't be happier with our outdoor grilling and gathering spot. Highly recommend!

It is a very strong and extremely well engineered Gazebo. I found the instructions easy to understand but it definitely requires 3 people to stand up. Personally I would install the roof rafters to the structure first then use a stepladder to screw the sheet metal roofing on. We truly enjoy ours.

We have thoroughly enjoyed having morning coffee under our gazebo. We spend as much time as possible dining and entertaining under our Brindlewood 12X10 Gazebo. It’s turned our otherwise plain backyard into our own little getaway! It’s so sturdy which is important in the Gulf Coast. The tin roof keeps it shady and cool in the Texas heat. As we live on a heavily wooded lot, we decided to purchase a gazebo to erect over the pool in order to afford it some protection from falling branches, leaves, etc. After much research, we chose Backyard Discovery's 12'x16" Norwood. We settled on this company due to their consistently positive reviews, high quality & attractive designs. Our gazebo was delievered quickly & complete. Instructions were straightforward & easy to understand, with everything clearly labeled. This may sound like a small detail, but on a large project like this it makes a big difference: Drilled holes were where they were supposed to be & bolts aligned as projected, making assembly as stress-free as possible. Our gazebo is now a beautiful, functional addition to our backyard. We have been delighted with every aspect of our purchase. From choice, to deivery, assembly to contributing to the aesthetic of our home, we couldn't possibly be more happy with our Backyard Discovery gazebo.

Bought the 12x10 Norwood gazebo the end of March (2025). We love it!!! Was looking for a budget friendly gazebo that was decent quality and looked nice. Was assembled in a weekend, all pieces were marked and the instructional video was easy to follow. We love it so much that we are looking at the greenhouses they offer.

We are almost wanting to sell our camper because we are finding the gazebo area so enjoyable. This adds plenty of shade and protection from the rain. We love it!

We were looking for a Gazebo solution that could withstand our extreme winters and high snowfall and this one looks very sturdy. The parts were very well identified and packaged (each hardware pack had at least one extra piece so if you stripped or damaged one, you had a spare). The instructions are a dream to use (when I didn't understand a process, I watched the "BILT" video instructions and those had the extra details I needed). The steps are organised and thorough. Yes, there are steps where you definitely need 2 or 3 people, but these steps are identified so you can arrange help beforehand. We are very pleased with everything about this product and would highly recommend this to anyone. Everything about this gazebo, the packaging, instructions, precision and even the fact that there is an extra of every nut an bolt (for emergencies ;-)). I have constructed many items in my life, but this HAS to be the best and relatively easiest I've experienced. I'm a fan!

We bought this a month ago and love it! It was a bit of a challenge to put together-you definitely needed both the written and video instructions but now that it is done I couldn’t be happier! It looks awesome and is my new favorite spot! We will be enjoying many days and evenings to come.

It did take us more hours than described, and more men to get the assembled roof on. Missing 1 screw and had to use several online assembly videos. Recently no problem holding up to 8” of snow.

We absolutely love our new gazebo. The cedar is sturdy and gorgeous, and the roof is really durable, which is so essential in our midwest climate. We love the power outlet feature so we can hang outdoor lights, as well as a TV! The size is perfect to fit our large outdoor sectional, with ample room to spare.
