Guests were coming on short notice and we needed a mattress ready for use in 48 hours. We bought online, used curbside picked up, loaded it into the back of the Jeep, brought it home, unrolled it, and our guests were comfortably sleeping on it the 2nd night! Best things: made in USA (no gross Chinese foam smell), well-engineered packaging (box has wheels, fits through standard doorways & you don't need a truck for transport!), it's not as heavy as you'd expect it to be, plus it has an elegant look and a universal comfort (medium firm). Love it!

We are very happy with our purchase of the Hotel Premium mattress. We purchased it for our guest room, but it is so comfortable that we are thinking about swapping it with our brand name memory foam mattress. It expanded very quickly, but took a day or so to firm-up. The smell was not too strong and gets less detectable every day. Yes I recommend this product!

This isn't the medium-firm mattress that I was hoping for, but it still is a decent mattress. I'd consider it firm with a slight (very slight) "give". The give isn't enough to drop it down anywhere into the medium range, but it's enough to provide decent support to back sleepers. I wouldn't recommend for side sleeper--unless that person is thin with narrow frame/shoulders and/or loves a firm mattress. Even heavier family members don't get much sink. Sometimes mattresses like this will bottom-out. This one is just firm. The sides do not have too much support so if you're a sleeper who prefers a big more sinking feeling you may find yourself sleeping on the edges. Just be careful that you don't roll onto the floor! We didn't notice any off-gassing (which is both good because it's ready-to-go but also bad because it's rather suspect given the materials). Overall, this is a gem of a mattress given the price if you're seeking a firm memory foam. I'd probably consider more for a guest room or child's room. I purchased it for a main bedroom mattress but it got moved to the spare room which we use when we just want to stretch out or take a quick nap. This mattress has more of a "sleep on top" rather than cradle/sink-in feel so it just depends on your preference. I haven't had it long enough to see if it gets much softer over time. A steal for the price. But still not right for my nightly comfort preference. (I wonder if quality control is an issue if people are actually getting/experiencing a softer sleeping experience). Overall, an okay mattress. Great for the price.

This indicates is medium firm but is by far the softest mattress I've ever had. I need a much firmer one. It also had lumps from not evenly expanding. I need to return it. Unfortunately, since I picked up in store instead of ordering online, I need to return it to the store. (The store was extremely rude when I asked about options.) One gal on phone told me to 'just roll it back up'... guessing she doesn't understand how these work :)

Bought two of these for our guest room and the guests were very pleased, even after multiple night’s sleep. We ordered the Ultra Plush version and were worried they might be too soft, but not at all. Very supportive. Excellent beds for the price. Plus the twin-XL makes a King size, if we elect to attach two frames together.

The mattress was not comfortable. It felt like sleeping on a bunch of pillows stuffed inside a casing. Lumpy and no support. I love Sam's but had to return this. The only requirement for the return to store was to wrap in plastic. Easy return no questions or hassle.

Very Comfortable! I was a skeptical because it came in a "box" but this mattress is truly a great purchase! I ordered the firm king and it is just right! It has the right amount of firmness/softness (if you wlil). I am really enjoying it and so is my husband - who is very hard to please when it comes to mattresses! Thanks Sam's for a great affordable mattress!

Mattress did have a chemical smell for a few days. It does sink at the edges when you get on and off the bed. It did take half-a-day to firm up. AND this mattress is the perfect balance of sinking into the mattress but not sinking too far. It's one of those mattresses that will not hurt your hip or shoulder if you stay in one position for hours. But you do not feel like you are on a hammock:) You feel like you are on a well made, expensive mattress that was a bargain!

It was time to move my teenage boy to a queen bed and I wanted something comfortable for him but didn’t want to spend a fortune. Found this for about $400 at Sam’s and was hoping it wasn’t too firm or to giving. My daughter and I tried it out when he was gone for camp and I slept like a baby. I have an expensive mattress and I slept just as good, if not better on this. Very nice quality!

I recently purchased a mattress from the Thornton, Colorado Sam’s Club using the Scan & Go feature, and my experience has been very disappointing. When I received the mattress, I realized it appeared to have been used. As someone with a disability, I cannot physically return the item due to its weight, so I contacted customer service for assistance. Despite explaining my situation, my case was closed without resolution, and I have yet to receive a refund or replacement. This has left me frustrated and feeling undervalued as a loyal member. The mattress itself is not what I expected in terms of quality. It did not feel new and had visible signs of prior use. I hope Sam’s Club improves its quality control and customer service to better support members like me in the future.
