Why does is taste so bad? The boxed powder is better. It literally smells like cow manure and I for whatever reason cannot stand the taste. I tried the chocolate flavor which is even worse and then bought these cause the powdered tastes better and I was not pleased with these at all. I’m surprised by all of the positve reviews.

I've loved these shakes for years. I got the newly packaged Vegan Vanilla flavored. They reduced the fiber content from 6 grams to 1 gram per serving. The website stated "New look, Same formula!" It's now more watery and less rounded. Bring back the fiber!

This shake makes me feel good about myself. It makes me feel healthy, and it is extremely healthy. It is very nutritionally dense and does not have a huge amount of calories. It's plant based as well, which is great for me since I am vegan. A nice source of protein. Not too crazy with the sugar either (and I'm betting a good percentage comes from the fruit mix). I don't love love the taste and I certainly don't dislike it either. Just love the way it makes me feel.

I am diabetic, survived cancer 3 times. I go to vitamin shoppe to get tbese and within minutes feel a comfort and yum. They removed my colon and these still. Go through smoothly minus gas or destreds. Thanks orgain for a quick pick me up, meal replacement or enhancer.used to ensure, but not now. Love vanilla bean. Thanks orgain.

My son (18) is super tall and skinny and is a picky eater. I have tried all kinds of protein powders/shakes and he hasn't liked any of them till this one! Now I know he is getting nutrition every day and don't have to worry so much when he doesnt eat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's great! I started drinking orgain because I wanted to make sure I was eating breakfast during busy work days. I love that it's plant based and filled with protein. I tend to go for the chocolate variety instead because this one is a bit chalkier, but my brother loves drinking the vanilla one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve historically purchased this brand/shake to drink during my overnight work shifts in lieu of a meal. I purchased this box for the same purpose, but it tastes…. Different. Not pleasant at all. I’m not sure i’d purchase again.

I previously always purchased the grass-fed vanilla shakes. My daughter is trying to eat vegan so I thought these would be healthier for her as a plant based option. She does not like them and neither does anyone else in the family. I am not sure if we got a bad batch or what? The grass-fed shakes tasted much better- like a creamy vanilla milkshake when cold. These have a horrible almost chemical or spoiled taste that I can't describe, not to mention a terrible aftertaste that lingers! They are also very runny & not as thick. None of us could even finish them. I feel awful to have wasted a whole box of shakes. We'll be sticking to the grass fed version.

I don't particularly enjoy any protein drink from any company but I still want the protein so what I do is mix mine with regular milk, put it in a smoothy or mix it with ice cream (not the healthiest but it helps me to eat less ice cream). I enjoy this vanilla flavor for these purposes.
