I bought a large bottle of Italian dressing to make my cucumber salad as usual. When I ate it it tasted weird, so I cleanse my pallette with water and took another bite and the weird taste was there again. The flavor of it is like the old motor oil smells, I think it should be made with a quality oil, like Olive or Avocado, because whatever you're using isn't working anymore. Extremely disappointed.

I personally love marinating chicken breasts in this dressing, then cooking them in the oven, with the dressing still in the pan. This provides an easy, tasty meal!

I can eat it just plain on a salad, but it is also delicious in pasta salads, or even as a dip for veggies. There is really no comparison with cheaper or store brands, this wishbone Italian truly is the best.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Italian dressing and wish bone Italian is my favorite!! The flavor is a perfect combination of vinegar-y and seasonings. It makes a phenomenal marinade for chicken and steak! The vinegar in it tenderizes the meat, and the flavor is so bold it lasts right through cooking! Also on a salad it is perfect! I also love the bottle and the top. It doesn't just pout, it squirts ... so you don't accidentally use too much product!

I bought this about like a month ago, but I have severe allergies. I’m allergic to gluten dairy eggs, peanuts treenuts coconut, avocados, kiwi, strawberry, and some preservatives and it doesn’t say any allergy information because the one I have doesn’t contain eggs, but I end up getting really sick from this product somehow

I am 64 years old, and have been eating Wishbone Italian Dressing (original) since I was a toddler. It was the only dressing my dad would eat, and we had salad every night with dinner. It was a staple in my parent's home and it is also a staple in my home

Inedible, it has been about 5 years since my last purchase. I put this dressing on radishes and it was inedible. I threw everything in the trash. I understand, some folks like a sweet salad dressing. I'm not one of them. I will need to look elsewhere or start making my own recipe. Very disappointing, Wishbone Robusto used to be such an excellent choice.

I absolutely loved this product until I started better understanding seed oils and non-seed oils. I used to consume bottles of this a month. I am now doing my best to buy products that have omega-3 base oils instead of omega-6. This product unfortunately has a unhealthy seed oil as it's base. As a request to wishbone, please make this same product but with a healthy omega-3 based oils (olive or avacado oils) I'd be willing to pay the extra $ for a healthier product and not with such a cheap seed oil. 😉

Just bought Wishbone original Italian dressing to marinate my chicken. Spoiled our dinner. What on earth did you do to it? It's sweet, horrible. I've been using this salad dressing for 40 years, and it was always my go to for marinade. It is now in the garbage. I guess my big question is why did you change it?

I grew up w this Italian salad dressing on the classic dinner salads my mother used to prepare and was so excited to find the not zesty version. I was very confused and disappointed about how overly sweet it is now. It’s almost like your Catalina dressing with some hints of the old style Italian. You should have made a different version with a different name but retained the original recipe as an option also. I hope you will offer the old recipe again, it was so good and no one needs more sugar in their diet!
