Bought this for my wife for Christmas - she was thrilled and started seasoning it that same day. It's very heavy and appears to be well-made. She hasn't tried it yet but she is super excited about it (and especially when I told her the price). :)

Great pot but I would not recommend oiling the rim and baking it as directed. When I took mine out of the oven the oil had stained it and left a sticky residue that is impossible to get off!

I bought this a bit over a month ago. I love it. It really cooks well and the heat is well distributed. I think my stews and soups have a richer flavor because of the slow simmer and even heating. This is a must buy. You won't be sorry.

I bought this as a replacement for a similar size Corning Visions dutch oven. This is the first enameled cast iron cookware I have used and I really like it. Easier to clean and very sturdy. Looks good as well.

Read some review where people are saying it's chipping. I am not seeing that, but if you register your product on the Tramontina website...you have lifetime guarentee. With quality like this, I would never even consider overpriced Le Cruset.

Kiddo dropped this off the kitchen counter the day it arrived, and the handle got a huge chip. Then a day later the lid has a chip, we aren’t sure how that even happened. It’s not as pricy as other brands, but I’m not sure it’s very durable.

Bought as a gift for my granddaughter. I love the color I chose for her that will go with anything. She will enjoy cooking with it from now on, it's quality will last forever.
