Bought one last summer and it completely stopped working less than 2 months after we bought it. Do not buy

This cools only okay but it is so noisey. I wished I hadn't purchased it. Will not ever buy this brand again. I dont feel confident it will last long. I dont reccommend this unit.

I have only started using this unit, and so far, very happy with it. Very quiet.

The unit is easy to put in, the only trouble that we had. Was this is a older home and the outlets are not close to most of the windows. It would be nicer if the cords where a little longer. The unit cools the room quickly.

I've had this Midea inverter for almost 2 years now (going on our third hot summer). Zero complaints. This unit works great, and one major advantage is how quiet it is. Its installed in a bedroom one of my family members sleeps in, so its quiet enough for that environment. Theres a youtube video thats done very well that shows you how to install it, so I'm not understanding the complants about lack of instructions. One change I made was installing the foam on the panels instead of on the window, because pulling the adhesive-backed foam off the window when storing the unit for winter leaves a sticky mess on your window frame. I recommend this unit. About to buy 2 more for my in-laws.

Bought two of these within a week of each other, and was very careful when transporting & setting up. The first unit displayed a EH61 error (not in the manual, but its a bad internal pipe temp sensor) immediately upon plugging in, and Midea support recommended we return and replace - so, we did. However: the second unit's blower fan started rattling and screeching within 5 minutes of being plugged in and couldn't cool a 170 sq ft room past 72, so we opted to return that one, as well.
