The shreds are so small, it barely seems like you're eating coconut. Combined with it being so DRY, it is somewhat of a choking hazard. Doesn't have much flavor unless you toast it and then not much either. I like that it's healthier because no sugar, but it's not fun to eat. The bag is BIG and I'm just trying to think how to use it up so I can buy a different kind.

Very dry and tasteless. I doubt that it would bake up well, and it is an unpleasant texture.

I received my Shredded Coconut last week and it is AMAZING, even by itself! I have so many different ideas for this, I plan to make a Coconut Cream Pie and homemade Almond Joys, I am excited for both of these!!!

This worked great for making candy. Coconut bars with a dab of dark chocolate on top. Or chocolate hay stacks. You can taste the coconut which is awesome for me. I have a hard time actually tasting coconut in my old age.
