You can SEE that your setting is accurate (not too dark), you can toast long/odd shapes like hotdogs bun, round loaves, baguette, etc. While still getting a faster, more even, better toast than my super fancy toaster oven. Excellent value for the money and slim stylish looks are an added bonus!!!

So far it's a good toaster, seems to toast to different settings as expected. The window is kind of useless for checking doneness because of the light the heating element casts on the bread. For the price it has good features, when it pops the toast it sounds tinny and cheap but it does pop the toast out. Wish it had a feature that lets you raise the toast to check doneness while it is toasting like my Breville did. I hope it is a long and satisfying relationship because it is hard to find a good toaster.

The see-through/clear view is very convenient and removes the guessing work I sometimes have to do with other toasters. The size is a huge plus too. It’s bigger than I expected and easily fits what we need toasted.

I purchased the Dash Clear View Toaster based on the reviews I researched, and especially based on the one that America's Test Kitchen gave on it's YouTube channel. After using a Black&Decker $20 toaster for the past 8 years, which served me very well, I have to say that the Clear View Toaster is a far superior product. Not only does it toast evenly, but it retains some of the moisture inside the bread, while leaving it nice and toasted on the outside. I've never had toast not taste dry without any butter or other garnishments, so this was a pleasant surprise! I believe this has something to do with the heating elements, which are not the standard wires; rather they are large element tubes located at the bottom of the heating tray. Another thing I love about this toaster is the space-saving design. The single-slot design also allows me to toast wider pieces of bread, like my favorite Goldminer's Sourdough, without having to cut the slices in half. The view window is a nice addition, but based on how I have my toaster orientated, it's not a feature I will use often. The outside remains cool to the touch and also is very easy to clean. It matches the other appliances I have around my kitchen, including my appliances!Dash, great job on making a great product! So far, I am really enjoying my new toaster!Chris

We love the toaster and enjoy being able to see the toast level of our breads in real time and it toasts bread evenly. One drawback is being unable to toast 2 slices of bread simultaneously. The length was designed for the standard sliced (e.g. Mrs. Baird's) bread, but we like the Sara Lee or Nature's Own brioche bread. The slices are a little wider and we cannot toast 2 slices simultaneously.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the aqua clear view toaster from Dash. It was packaged very nicely and I love the pamphlet that was included. It showed you what each number on the toaster meant showing the level of toasty-ness. It worked very well with a regular piece of bread. It is a tad bit hard to see the toast level with the red light making it seem as if it is toasted to your likeness. Also with a bagel, the toast level is not the same. I would recommend going up one level to get the correct toast.

It also has a button to have the toast pop up when you see it the way you want it. The clear window let's you know how dark your toast is getting. The toast pops up easily and it is easy to remove.

So far so good! I’m more of a toaster oven gal. I’ve been waiting for a toaster that was a little different before I purchased one. This t sold me bc of the single slot design wide enough for bagels, the clear glass so I can insure the bread doesn’t get too toasty, and the easy clean features of removable glass and crumb tray

The book that shows the way bread looks toasted on the number settings is very helpful. Its also nice outside look and color.
