Since then, most of the toasters I've had either died or had a failure to toast. When I say failure to toast, what I really mean is that they either burn the bread to a crisp or leave it completely raw. The only way to get the bread toasted has been to watch faithfully and try to pop it up before it burned. I'm talking like 8 toasters like that. This toaster is amazing. Not only does it toast well, but you can see it toasting. The book that it comes with has pictures of what the toast will look like at every level and it's pretty accurate, so that made it really easy to pick the desired setting without experimenting. It also has a really convenient crumb drawer that just pulls out instead of an annoying flap at the bottom. Since it uses a radiant heating element, it can take a minute longer than coil toasters, but that's not a concern for me. Overall, perfect for my needs. Love my toast.

There are 7 heating levels to give you the precise toasting result. Inside the instruction manual, there is an image guide of how your toast will look, depending on which level you pick. Cancel button is easily accessible. You can also specifically pick a defrost, reheat or bagel option. Both the side glass panel and crumb tray, slides out for easy cleaning. This toaster is really easy to use and I highly recommend it.

It took me a bit to figure out how to release the glass to clean it before the first use, but then it was easy. It suggested starting at level 4, that did not toast home baked bread, but level 5 did. I am looking forward to using it for bagels and English muffins . I love the wide and longer length as we mostly used home baked sour dough breads.

Not only do I use my clear view toaster to toast up the waffles I make ahead for my kids with my mini dash makers but I also use it to toast up frozen hash brown patties. The are cooked to perfection in half of the time. No oil mess and an equal amount of time as using the air fryer! The possibilities are endless with this space saving gadget!

I've had my new toaster for about 2 weeks now and I really like it. As I like larger bread slices from round loaves, this toaster works beautifully. It toasts evenly and you can actually see it toasting. You can adjust the browning to your exact needs. Best toaster I've ever had. Read the enclosed instruction book to get the best results. My husband likes to toast his waffle using the defrost button. It defrosts first, then continues on with the perfect degree of browning that he likes. Great machine!

I like my cute new toaster but I have to put my homemade sourdough bread on the highest setting and it still only does one side well (the side away from the window). So I have to put it down twice after turning it around. It works better than the old one I was using so Ill keep using it.

I love this toaster one wide long slot that accommodates two slices of bread or bagel or even hand cut artisan bread. Taost everything to a golden brown without drying it out. So toast comes out perfect. Only issue is the spring is a little strong so you may have a piece of toast fly onto the counter from time to time but it is worth it.

I purchased the Dash Clear View Toaster based on the reviews I researched, and especially based on the one that America's Test Kitchen gave on it's YouTube channel. After using a Black&Decker $20 toaster for the past 8 years, which served me very well, I have to say that the Clear View Toaster is a far superior product. Not only does it toast evenly, but it retains some of the moisture inside the bread, while leaving it nice and toasted on the outside. I've never had toast not taste dry without any butter or other garnishments, so this was a pleasant surprise! I believe this has something to do with the heating elements, which are not the standard wires; rather they are large element tubes located at the bottom of the heating tray. Another thing I love about this toaster is the space-saving design. The single-slot design also allows me to toast wider pieces of bread, like my favorite Goldminer's Sourdough, without having to cut the slices in half. The view window is a nice addition, but based on how I have my toaster orientated, it's not a feature I will use often. The outside remains cool to the touch and also is very easy to clean. It matches the other appliances I have around my kitchen, including my appliances!Dash, great job on making a great product! So far, I am really enjoying my new toaster!Chris
