The long long grain rice I have found doesn't turn to mush! Had to substitute another brand during Covid. I'll do without if necessary again.

Alway need to have yUncle Ben's rice in my house. Hate running out as we use it every week. This size bag is great and inexpensive

I was severely torque-jawed with Sam's when they dropped Uncle Ben's a few years back. So I am very happy to see it return (at least it appears so as it is an "instant savings" item this month) and will be looking for it on or local clubs shelves. I have preferred Uncle Ben's for most rice dishes all my life, but found the small boxes sold in most retail sources too small and WAY overpriced. No, it does not easily make Asian style sticky rice, but there a re a couple things you can add to the boil water that will help it achieve some sticky-ness.

I bought this in lieu of the brand I usually get being sold out. It was for a big family gathering so I used quite a bit and noticed a bunch of black hard bits sort of like small rocks. Some where mushy and expanded when wet. Disgusting really. Never will buy again!

Rice cooks perfect every time. Family is pleased with texture and taste.
