So happy I could find this rice at Sam’s club, it was perfect for making my Greek rice pilaf and I needed it in large quantities for a celebration buffet. This makes the perfect Greek rice and everyone loved the food. Will definitely order again in the future.

I grew up eating this brand and it brings back happy memories. Yes, I eat all the other fancy brown rice and quinoa but I come back to this one when I crave the foods of my childhood.

Need to add more water if need rice to be softer. Otherwise rice firmer on 1:1 ratio per most recomendation for cooking rice.

Always loved the rice. Ordered 3 bags of 12 lbs rice when I divided them up all three bags only had 11.5 lbs. Contact manufacturer and sams. They said they would investigate and their scale should have rejected the under weight bags. Weigh your rice when you buy in bulk.

We’ve been purchasing this rice from Ben’s Original for many years. Since COVID we have noticed the quality decline of the product. For almost a year there seemed to be different types of rice mixed together, so it didn’t cook consistently. Recently the rice had many grains which had brown or black spots on it, more than can be removed. What took the cake was our last purchased in which we found it was infested with bugs, both bags. Expiration date was supposed to be a year from now. We will find another brand to use going forward.

I had a terrible experience with Ben’s rice. When I opened the package, I noticed a lot of black dirt-like particles mixed throughout the rice. It also had a very old, unpleasant smell that made me uncomfortable eating it. I have purchased rice many times before and have never seen anything like this. The quality was extremely disappointing, and I ended up throwing it away because I did not feel it was safe to eat. I definitely would not recommend this product based on my experience.
