Good price for breaded chicken tenders

I bought this over a month ago have had 2 or 3 meals of it so far. Very heavily breaded and not very flavorful. Heating in oven produces a mediocre pasty piece of chicken. Frying in oil works better producing a more crispy piece of chicken. This product is not as good as competitive more expensive brands. Would not reccomend these.

These used to be Pilgrims chicken

These used to be called Pilgrims chicken tenders but the company that purchased them changed the name but kept the exact same color and design of the packaging. Also just 3 weeks this product was $12.98- now it’s $19.98. Sorry but these ain’t what they used to be so I’ll start making my own. These are to fatty and not even close to the product that Pilgrims put in the box.

Don’t be stupid

I would not buy them again. They’re not horrible, but they’re overpriced to the extreme and they use - in my humble opinion - unethical box printing propaganda marketing tactics to make it look like a members Mark product. I would think Sam’s Club would not allow such deviousness, but who knows.

They just aren’t as advertised for me

The only way I can get these to cook through, is by going against what the instructions say, and let them thaw, THEN cook them, for a MINIMUM of 23-25 minutes depending on thickness. Already the time is an extra 10 minutes of cooking via air fry, and then an extra 10-20 for thawing. I may as well just cook a thick piece of frozen chicken at this point with the time. I also find the breading to be overly spicy for no reason. And I mean OVERLY, spice is normal now. I’m unhappy with the purchase for my day to day use. Instructions do not meet what I have experienced, and I’ll pick a different brand from now on. However to feed a crowd of people, with the ability to deep fry, it’s a good investment.

Mid Tender

They don't get very crispy and they are a little bit too thick for me. I prefer a thinner crispy chicken tender. some of the pieces are tough. Would not buy again I would recommend the chicken tenders from restaurant depot if you are able to grab them!

Not the Same Chicken Tenders at All!!! Yuck!

I've bought these tenders for years and years. Until recently, they were thick and juicy with breading like fried chicken (crunchy, flour-based). They were so versatile, cooked easily in the oven and rivaled some of the best restaurant tenders. Everything has changed!!! Now, they're thin, tasteless, dried-out and the breading is gritty and flat (more like corn meal). Honestly, I wonder if they're "shaped" chicken pieces like fast-food nuggets. Bleh!! Oh, and they cost several dollars more too. I thought the first box of these revamped tenders was just a weird fluke, but then I wasted more money on a 2nd box. It will be the last one though - another former Sams staple that gets crossed off the shopping list. Why do companies who have a great, reliable, quality product think its a good idea to completely change that product???

not the same

Sam’s did it again. They took a good quality product and substituted an inferior product for it. You would not easily notice that the package is almost identical to the previous product they carried. This brand is full of breading and the pieces are not much bigger than chicken nuggets. These are going back to Sam’s. What a disappointment.

Edible sometimes

I bought 3 boxes at once. They are completely inedible when cooked in the oven. About half are edible from a deep fryer. I've never had such tough and disgusting chicken breast in my life. It must have taken many years to develop such a horrible product. They must be made from egg laying chickens that died from old age. They are that bad.

Quality Has Gotten Terrible

I used to really like this chicken but it seems they changed something and the quality has gotten much worse. The past two times I bought this, the chicken tasted terrible and was rubbery. I won’t be able to finish this current box since the chicken is not palatable.

Verified Purchase

Do not purchase Country Pride Tenders..

Country pride chicken Tenders are not good, I will not buy them again. Initially when I baked them i thought it was my taste buds. I tried them again this week. They have no flavor plus they are very dry after baking them according to directions. Please credit my Sam's account back.
