I used to really like this chicken but it seems they changed something and the quality has gotten much worse. The past two times I bought this, the chicken tasted terrible and was rubbery. I won't be able to finish this current box since the chicken is not palatable.

These have absolutely no flavor. Do people have no taste buds anymore? There's no flavor to these! The breading is incredibly underwhelming! They're not crispy, they're almost chewy, doughy, pastey... And you can't bake them because they don't crisp up. They get gummy. I would never buy these again. Tastes like fast food chicken strips at best.

Haven’t bought these in several months. So happy that I did as they’re definitely more improved! Batter/coating is much thinner making them so much better. Large, tender pieces of chicken and not over dry or odd texture/flavour. If these are the new changes please keep them! Well worth money.

The quality has definitely changed in the last year. I always purchased these because they are fast, and tasty but in the past year, I have received pieces that are freezer burned or all breading. Today the pieces were partially raw. I don't think I can get past this.

I've bought these tenders for years and years. Until recently, they were thick and juicy with breading like fried chicken (crunchy, flour-based). They were so versatile, cooked easily in the oven and rivaled some of the best restaurant tenders. Everything has changed!!! Now, they're thin, tasteless, dried-out and the breading is gritty and flat (more like corn meal). Honestly, I wonder if they're "shaped" chicken pieces like fast-food nuggets. Bleh!! Oh, and they cost several dollars more too. I thought the first box of these revamped tenders was just a weird fluke, but then I wasted more money on a 2nd box. It will be the last one though - another former Sams staple that gets crossed off the shopping list. Why do companies who have a great, reliable, quality product think its a good idea to completely change that product???

These chicken tenders are a product of poor quality control. The meat is not tender, it's very woody. There are several pieces that even after cooking for the 15 minutes, are still raw. RAW. The breading never cooks very well, even after adding time it is very squishy and does not stay on the chicken which usually happens with poor preparation before the original frying. Had high hopes because the chicken bites from this brand were nice but these are disgraceful, would not recommend at all.

I bought this over a month ago have had 2 or 3 meals of it so far. Very heavily breaded and not very flavorful. Heating in oven produces a mediocre pasty piece of chicken. Frying in oil works better producing a more crispy piece of chicken. This product is not as good as competitive more expensive brands. Would not reccomend these.

I bought 3 boxes at once. They are completely inedible when cooked in the oven. About half are edible from a deep fryer. I've never had such tough and disgusting chicken breast in my life. It must have taken many years to develop such a horrible product. They must be made from egg laying chickens that died from old age. They are that bad.

A surprisingly delicious bulk purchase. I cook these in an air fryer in a single layer. The directions say 14 minutes, but I find with my air fryer I need closer to 17-18 minutes to get them to an internal temperature over 165 degrees (F). These are not precooked, so it is important to use a food thermometer to measure the internal temperature. However, because they are not precooked, I find that they come out of the air fryer incredibly juicy and delicious.

We have bought these several times and our whole family liked them. However, tonight I made these for my children and I, and when I was eating one of mine I bit into something hard. I immediately pulled what I bit into out of the tender, and it was a VERY sharp bone. I'm thankful I was the one eating that tender, and that it wasn't any of my children. I will be throwing out the whole bag and won't buy again. I tried to attach a picture, but it wouldn't allow me to.
