Envy Apples, 4 lbs.

Quantity and fresh not bruised nor damaged

Many apples were moldy.  Purchased this bag twice over a period of 2 months.  Same result.  They look great but sadly many were not.

Beware

I tried  the Envy apples for the first time and was pleasantly surprise at the taste. they're semi-sweet crisp and juicy.

I discarded the entire bag! I have very much enjoyed envy apples in the past but these wrre mushy and bitter. I wonder if they got frozen somewhere along the line.

Not as good as earlier in the season.

I chose these apples because Envy apples are the sweetest.  This is according a photo of a row of apples from sweetest to most tart.  I use these to make applesauce with apple juice and cinnamon.  Between the Envy apples and the apple juice, there is plenty of seeetness with no need to add sugar.  I make my own applesauce because too few stores sell the chunky applesauce anymore.  Sadly, that includes Sam’s.  So I buy the apples and make the applesauce the way I like it.
