[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a few months ago to replace an old freezer to give us additional refrigerator and freezer space. Fit the bill perfectly. Gives us a lot of additional space for holidays. Well built and looks good.

I would give 0 stars if I could. The worst refrigerator I've ever had. Be prepared to buy bags of ice as this thing won't even produce enough ice in a 24-hour period for one person. The refrigerator gets too cold in the back and ice forms on my food. The compressor had to be replaced a few months after purchase and the ice maker worked a bit better after that but now it's back to making one tray a day. The water from the dispenser has never been cold, since day one. And of course, the lousy one-year warranty is expired. Learn from my mistake and purchase another brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Freezer door did not seal so the freezer iced up. Replaced freezer door, it seals for most of the length of the refrigerator. I'm concerned the seal may not last and ice may start building up again. Fingers crossed… even with a BRAND NEW FRIDGE! Local technician was very helpful though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first side by side we've owned, so a couple of things we've needed to get use to. The freezer compartment is narrow however, there is plenty of room between shelves where items can be stacked. My wife likes that feature. Still getting use to NOT having the standard door handles as these are inset. The unit runs quietly and freezes items well.

We weren't going to get one with an ice maker just because of the space it took up. So, this refrigerator gave us the best of both worlds!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The recessed door pull out system is great. No finger prints or tugging on handles. What I really like are the produce drawers with rollers on the bottom. It seems mechanically more logical to have the supports below instead of hanging from plastic runners, which most refrigerators have had for many, many years. We haven't hooked up the ice maker so I have no info on that. Otherwise the frig is spacious and we are happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this frige becase of price and that I could get it fast. My frige broke and I am selling the house in a year, so I just needed somthing. But after having it for a mo. I love it. all the soden I found that I like every thing obut it. I love the no smudge finish, very clean flat look (no handales) I love the deap door trays. I holds so much stuff that my Fridge looked empty. In short I love every thing about it......Except one small feature .... the crusted Ice sprays out a little. I have to make sure that I hold the glass real high and to the back so not to let ice pass the glass.and the water switch need to be a little more forward.

The only thing I would prefer to be different is the way it locks out the ice maker and the way you choose between water and ice. Tge lock is inside the fridge which is easily acccessible by my todler which is the purpose of locking it. And there is only one button to switch from ice too water for all 3 options. Other than that great fridge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a long story as to how we ended up with an LG frig. Bought another well known brand that was dead or arrival. The company made no real effort to make things right. After fighting with the manufacturer for 6 weeks to get it replaced, the store where we purchased it at was kind enough to take it back. We prefer white over stainless steel and due to the supply chain issues at the time choices within our price range were few. One thing we knew for sure was that we would not purchase another frig of the same brand. We ended up choosing the LG. At first we weren't sure about the "no handle" look but now that we've had it for awhile, we love the fact that there are no handles sticking out further into the room. The LG is only slightly larger than the previous frig but it seems to have so much more storage area. The ice maker in the door adds a lot of extra space to the freezer section. The size of the ice container could cause a problem for larger families that use a lot of ice but for the two of us (and we love ice) it holds more than enough for our needs. One of the best features is that it's very quiet. At first I found myself opening the doors just to be sure it was working because with the exception of when it drops ice, I can't hear it running. My only suggestion would be that an extra row of lights should be added towards the rear. The light strip is at the front and provides plenty of light to the front and center of the frig but it gets a little dark at the rear. Not a huge deal but additional lighting would in my opinion make the LRSXS2706 an almost perfect more affordable frig.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our fridge went out Christmas eve but we were able to snag up this new fridge the day after Christmas. I love the space saving ice maker in the door. The freezer side is so much roomier than other models with your typical icemaker.
