First of all this is a good looking refrigerator. I shared a picture on social media and received a compliment. It has plenty of space inside for all my perishables in both the freezer and the refrigerator. I really like the ice maker in the door feature. It works quite well and doesn't consume a lot of shelf space in the freezer. I also like the size of the ice it makes plus I can have crushed ice or cold water without opening the freezer door. It also makes less noise than my previous refrigerator.

The door when left open will gently close itself. The temperature is easy to control and the ice filter is easy to replace. Unlike the unit it is replacing, it is very quiet when the compressor runs.

We bought this about a month ago and have been pleased with it. It takes a little getting used to not having handles to open and close the doors. In my opinion, the only drawback to this refrigerator is the lack of capacity for the ice maker. If you use a lot of ice throughout the day or have a need for a large amount of ice, you have to wait quite awhile for it to replenish the supply. A larger container would be preferable.

I did feel the need to purchase some frig bins to bundle like items from an organizational standpoint. I like the door handles for easy access and the water dispenser is great.

It seems very roomy is easy to operate and stays at exactly the temperature you request. The crisper drawers are extremely roomy with a bottom drawer large enough to put your garden in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG brand was the first reason for my choice. Having someone in the DIY shop confirming this was their most reliable brand. My second reason was the new style. I was really happy to be rid of door handles. The flat clean look really caught my eye. This part I would have a small suggestion of moving the handle area up an inch or two. Being 5'11" it is a bit on the lower side. I do like the handle is both for upper and lower hand use. Possibly add a handle on the very top of the door would help. The third reason was the door dispenser. These work great. Couple minor draw backs. First is the bit of a delay when you press your glass. I keep telling myself this is just to help the longevity of the dispenser. The second is the ice part. When ice is being dispensed as crushed it goes everywhere. You have to hold the glass as high up as it can go. A bit disappointing because the crushed ice was what I was looking for. Other than these small items the overall fridge runs quiet with plenty of storage. The large door shelves are great. The drawers are huge and move with ease. It cooled down quickly when first plugged in. This was very helpful because the fridge is so quiet i couldnt tell if the unit was actually working. I cant feel any vents or air flow so only until the temp is cold can you tell if this thing is running. A month in and i have no regrets and love my fridge.

So far, I love it. Somehow it seems larger than my previous fridge of the same size. I like opening the doors from the middle strip. There's a lot less fingerprints on the stainless steel! Seems to keep nice steady temps in freezer & fridge. Plenty of ice.

I called LG and requested help for this matter. The LG tech came to my house and explained to me how this inverter system works and how the unit is designed to cool. Now my new fridge is cooling perfectly as it should being an LG! There is plenty of room in the cooling and freezing compartments. The icemaker works well and quickly. The most positive feature of the unit for me is in knowing that LG provides excellent support for their products. LG doesn't just sell a product and leave the buyer to try to figure it out - they are eager to offer support to their buyer to help the buyer understand how their product works so the buyer can truly enjoy having an LG product.
