This is pretty comfortable, and the mechanism is pretty quiet (which I was concerned with). I bought this online, so didn't get to try it out first. The only thing with having it delivered was that the delivery guy didn't bring it in, so I had to get it inside by myself and unpack it. He rang the doorbell and I think he must have actually ran so that I wouldn't ask him to bring it in!! Not sure of that part, but he was gone pretty fast.

Wish I could have sat in them first. They arrived on time and well packaged. They assembled easy and fit side by side (we bought matching) with panels to hide the electric cords. The arm rest pockets are deep enough to place a magazine in and include your remotes. They sit a little back at first but after getting used to them, they work well with watching the big screen. The material is excellent and looks and feels like real leather. The power recline feature is perfect for watching or napping.

I bought via web so I had not tried the chair till it was delivered. The leather is not hot to sit in at all. Love the cup holders although they will not accomodate a coffee cup with handle. Really like the table more than I thought I would. Black chair looks good in living room and not overly large. Easy to opperate. The one con is I would of liked chair to be able to sit up straighter for eating and drinking. I find I still need a small pillow in lower back. I have yet used the storage in arms.

I PURCHASED THIS CHAIR ABOUT ONE MONTH AGO AND I AM GLAD I DID. I SPENT WEEKS REVIEWING OTHER SIMILAR RECLINERS AVERAGING $650.00. WHEN I SAY AN AD FROM SAM'S CLUB FOR THE SAME RECLINER FOR $400.00. I BOUGHT IS IMMEDIATELY. THE LEATHER IS SOFT AND THE SEAT IS COMFORTABLE. IT TOOK JUST A FEW MINUTES TO SLIDE THE BACK ON AND HOOK UP THE POWER. I AM VERY SATISFIED.

We purchased 5 of the black chairs and after setting them up we realized we could use one more so now we have 6 total. You can't beat these chairs for the money. They are very comfortable, well packaged, and went together very easy. We love these chairs.

Love the recliners. Bought 2 of them for my great room. I thought they were red but they are actually burgundy. I was a little disappointed at first but once I put them together they look good.. The delivery is basic were they just bring the merchandise inside your home. I was able to take the recliners out of the huge box and attach the two pieces, find the power cord and attach it.

This is my second recliner that I’ve purchased from Sams. First one is still working but I bought a new one because I’ve been having back problems and this actually helped. Cons: I’m 5’8” and is a tiny bit short for me. Not crazy about the arm pockets opening at my side instead of in front. Last but not least, the placement of the usb outlet …I keep hitting it with my hand. Wish it were placed elsewhere. Pros: It’s well made. Firm yet comfortable. Easy to put together. Great for sleeping when my back acts up! I’m very happy with my purchase!

After almost 18 years, I finally got rid of my old (manual) leather recliner & purchased a new Larson Leather Power Reclining Home Theater Chair. WOW, what a difference from my previous chair. It's electric & comfortable. I should have purchased 2 of them.

I originally ordered a slightly more expensive chair from a different manufacturer, but the order was cancelled (it was out of stock).The only difference was the first one had USB ports in the armrest storage compartments, and this chair does not. Not a big deal, and it was $100 cheaper. Chair was easy to assemble (did it myself in less than an hour at age 79) including unpacking box and removing wrappings and putting the cardboard container in the trash can. Power reclining mechanism works easily, and included tray table is very helpful for snacking, TV remote or cell phone resting place. Comfortable and conducive for my afternoon nap. Very happy so far!

I love this chair. I read the description and it was just as described. It was delivered when forecasted. The only 2 things that I didn't like was the free shipping only included pushing the box inside my doorway according to the deliverymen and getting that chair out of that big box!! Otherwise, I am very satisfied.
