Just received my five theater seats and so far I've sent up three of them. The first has one side of it that's not stable. The second one I opened is fine. The third one doesn't work. Flipped it over and found a wire that was disconnected. Now the buttons light up when pressed but chair still doesn't recline but charger works. No sure if I want to even open the other two.

I've had my chair now for over a year and it is quite solid and comfortable. I use the small tray primarily as a mouse holder while having my laptop on my.... laptop. The only drawback I see is that over time the construction of where the tray sets in the chair seems to get a bit off and then the tray becomes uneven. Other than that though, I really don't have any concerns and probably will order another one soon for the living room.

Wish I could have tried this before I purchased it. I would never have purchased it. There is no neck support and if you sit in it for any length of time your lower back will start hurting (like watching a movie). They are not very comfortable. We purchased 2 of them 1 for my wife and I and wasted our money on them. I do not recommend this chair.

I received the recliner last week. Setting it up is as simple as snapping the back rest into the base, no tools required. I plugged it in and it works exactly as I had imagined. Took me about 5 minutes to set it up. The packaging was worn out and I was worried that it would be damaged but it was well protected inside the box. I am about 5' 11'' and my feet do hang out over the edge of the footrest when fully reclined but I find it to be a very comfortable recliner.

We're extremely pleased with our purchase. We needed two rows of four to replace our existing movie room chairs so we purchased two three-piece sets plus two single Larson chairs. These chairs are built solid and I have compiled some information that I was not able to find from other Q&As posted here. So hopefully this information will help you. Additional box measurements are listed in my review of the three-piece chair set. 1) This chair come in one box. Some have asked about boxes fitting through certain door openings. We had no problem moving any of the boxes boxes through a 30" door opening (space between two jams, i.e. the physical door size was slightly larger). W x L x H --> 31" x 36" x 25.5" (122.1 lbs). The weight is printed on the side of each box and it took two people to move each box. I suppose if a single person used an appliance dolly (dolly with a strap/clamp), you could move these yourself. 2) Cup holders are not tapered and are 3 5/8" diameter. 3) Each chair is approximately 65" in length when fully reclined (tip of foot rest to top of head rest). 4) The chairs take approximately seven to eight seconds to fully recline. Both recline and return take about the same time and timing is slightly longer when someone is sitting in the chair vs. doing time tests with the chair empty. 5) Each chair is fully supported and although the chairs hook together with a traditional hook and peg design, each chair has feet which increases the strength and durability of each chair. Best of all, when the person sitting next to you moves (shifts weight, reclines, etc.) you won't feel it. 6) I did not notice how these chairs were powered before buying these and thought this additional piece of information may help. Each chair has it's own individual AC to DC transformer and power cord. They are individually packaged and zip-tied to the bottom of each chair. No big deal but you will need to cut the zip-tie to remove the transformer and power cord. If you plan to conceal the transformer somewhere under the chair, make sure you check for clearances when the chair is in motion in both the fully reclined and non-reclined positions. There is a small green LED light on the top of each transformer to indicate the transformer is powered. After being plugged in for one-day, the transformers remained at room temperature. 7) Each chair reclines to almost a horizontal position. In my opinion, fully reclined would be too far back to watch a movie. If you plan to sleep during the movie, you'll be quite comfortable.

The chairs were delivered to my door which was great. They look real nice and were super easy to put together. The mechanics of the chair are a mother story. You have to put the chair in a full recline position to get up. And you have to wiggle like a warm to get the chair to go down. You don’t have the option to put your feet up a little and put them back down.

Overall the chairs are nice and very comfortable. Easy to put the backs on.The storage on each arm is ample and the removable tray is plus. They are boxed very well and even survived several Fed Ex stops the last couple weeks before getting to me. In fact the only issue I had was Fed Ex itself not being able to deliver them both (I ordered two)on same day. Seems one of them got "lost" . Eventually the second one showed up..with a nice footprint on the box..how does that happen? Also as an fyi.Like another buyer stated..there is no USB on this chair. The original listing on Sams website when I purchased in fact showed them (one on side of chair and one inside the storage compartments on the arms of the chair.It looks like the listing on Sams website has been updated in the last couple weeks as there is no mention of USB ports anymore nor photos of them anymore. Also the arms open front to back for storage ...not sideways as the current photos still show.Sams really needs to get their act together on being factual on their website listings

I ordered two of these theater seat recliners with USB ports. I received two recliners that are different item #, different brand , and dont have the same features as what I ordered or as shown. Of course, I didn't realize it until they were unboxed and assembled. Fed ex won't pick up returns that are not boxed. Please remember to check before you open so you are not stuck paying for something other than what you ordered. Reviews only help if you receive what you order and hopefully, this is not something that Sams Club has happen frequently.

It is very comfortable and has helped me working through my arthritis and bursitis as far as somewhere to sleep in comfort. That being said…I’m only 5’8” and the back of my ankles hit the end of the footrest. Needs to be longer. After a year some of the material is pealing off. This could be my fault from the heating pad. Finally, I prefer the armrests to fold back and not sideways. They are difficult to open. Overall, the comfort wins to this old lady.

Just received this and assembled it and plugged it in, the light comes on in the back where you plug it in, but nothing works. How disappointing and after how heavy it is to get it in the home, now what am I going to do with a chair that wont even work .Very sad
