I am a crafter and was looking for a heavy duty large unit to store my crafting supplies and thought this would be perfect. Went to take it out of the box (appeared undamaged) and found one of the shelves on the inside to be dented pretty much in half and another with good sized dent. I could accept some small dents but this was ridiculous! Not only is the box heavy ,the shelves are PAPER THIN! The outside of the unit has much nicer steel, but aren't the shelves important since that is where you'll be storing your items? As for "HEAVY DUTY", it could maybe be deemed heavy duty on THE MOON! Cheap flimsy shelves. Save your hard earned dollars and avoid hauling this to your home and back to return! Big waste of time and money!

I ordered this cabinet online (not available in my local store) and it arrived within 7-10 days in a massive 150lb. box. It shipped from CA to my home in WI so you can imagine what it must have gone thorough en route. Something this large and heavy is bound to be awkward and suffer the consequences, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well it was all packed. Make sure to give yourself a lot of room for assembly - I would suggest a carpeted floor but if you're like me this was destined for my garage so that is where I put it together. The shipping box (when flattened) makes a nice cushion if you're working on a concrete slab - just be ready for a FULL 42 gal. trash bag of styrofoam packing pieces and a whole lot of cardboard. Most of the metal parts are nested within other parts and I have to give Seville credit for the way they packed it, but inevitably you're going to get some dinged corners here and there in a box this size and weight. I probably had a half dozen or so damaged areas and elected not to request new ones as the replacements probably wouldn't be any better. In the end it just didn't bother me that much as it was (after all) for the garage - and the corners that did get dinged up ended up hidden by the corner protector pieces. Everything is epoxy coated except the doors (which are stainless steel) and the finish seems quite durable, except in the areas where it got dinged up - there the coating just flaked off. The key lock they include for the doors is pretty wimpy - don't expect it to keep anyone out other than small children. Assembly was pretty straight forward and took a couple hours by myself. They even include a wrench, screwdriver, and a spare bag of one each of the necessary screws. All of the parts are clearly labeled and the different screws are separated in numbered bags - makes it very easy to follow the somewhat archaic instructions. After assembling the side panels and doors, it helps to have two people to screw the assembled panels together - I did it by myself with some makeshift supports but it would have been easier with an extra set of hands. Hanging the doors would also be easier with two people. The unit comes with four leveling feet which look quite sturdy, but I didn't use them. There are threaded holes on the bottom as an option to mount four casters in place of the feet (caster sets for this unit are available on the Seville Classics web site, as well as additional shelves), but they were out of stock there so I just picked up my own 5" casters with a standard 4" x 4 1/2" base plate, 300 lb. rated each. Going this route you have to provide your own bolts for the casters (I assume they would come with the ones you get from Seville), but I had to buy 16 bolts and guess at the size as everything on the unit is Metric thread. I actually brought the bottom panel with me to the hardware store so I could make sure the bolts that I bought fit before I got all the way back home. The caster bolts that fit were M8 x 35mm, coarse thread, with a flat washer and locking washer for each. All in all it's a great cabinet - plenty of storage with a weight capacity of 600 lbs. (150 lbs. per shelf) and having it on wheels makes it easy to move if you need to get behind it for cleaning, etc. Also having it up off the ground should protect it a bit from corrosion.

I purchased this cabinet based on the description. I was very disappointed. The sides and the doors consist of top and bottom panels held together with small screws. The back is four panels. It is basically two boxes stacked one on top of the other. This leaves a junction in the middle of the cabinet that makes the entire assembly very unstable. I will look more closely next time.

We are using these for a man cave themed basement family room. Plenty of storage space for sports collectibles, kids toys, etc. They are very easy to put together, well-built and will hold a LOT. We ordered two and the second unit came with four dented pieces, they sent replacements fairly quickly. The chrome doors are a bit flimsier than the rest of the unit, but they will hold up fine and look very nice.

The first set of two cabinets arrived with damage in at least ten locations. it was obvious that the various part where boxed in that condition prior to shipment. Reordered and received two new cabinets that had some damage as well. Had to settle with the damage in order to get my garage back in order. Would probably go a different direction if I had it to do again. The other pieces I did purchase in the store where all in good condition.

The cabinets are excellent quality, and come with very good assembly instructions, which is important because I estimate there are close to 200 screws per unit needed to assemble. The assembly company that I paid for through Sam’s Club is absolutely terrible. They initially had 1 tech scheduled to come to my house at 9:00 PM at night. Then couldn’t reschedule for a week, and nobody showed up. Plus, their rates are very misleading. The price they advertise is not complete, and was told it “varied.” So I cancelled, and they won’t credit your account. So I called Sam’s Club, since they were the ones I scheduled through. And nobody knows anything. Can’t help. 100% Bush League, and will affect any future buying decisions I make.

Picked up at my local Sam's Club Friday Night and assembled the next morning. 1. I agree with others you need a fair amount of space to assemble 2. The instruction are actually very good 3. No missing pieces and all parts were in good shape :-) 4. It took me about 4 hours to assemble 5. The magnetized screwdriver that was included was a nice touch as it helped retrieve dropped screws and helped in starting some of the screws that were in awkward places 6. I used the plastic bags covering the large pieces to collect all the Styrofoam and even the box the cabinet came in Final thoughts: The cabinet is NOT heavy duty. I would never use in a garage but is fine for my use Doors are kind of flimsy. There is loads of storage space but the stored items can't be very heavy

We purchased three of these and they really come in handy. We did have an unexpected issue with the doors on one of the cabinets, so we had to just use the cabinet without the door because when I contacted SevilleClassics to see if I could just purchase replacement doors and hardware, I was told that they do not sell replacement doors and that I would just have to use the cabinet "as is". If they offered replacement doors for purchase, that would be great. Other than that, we love the cabinets. I also have the UltraHD 12-Drawer Rolling Workbench, which has been very reliable.

For a big cabinet in a little box, it's ok. "UltraHD" has nothing to do with them being heavy duty. They are NOT heavy duty. Assembly was simple enough. I bought two of them, and before I finished assembling the first one, I discovered the most concerning flaw. The bottom of the cabinet is very flimsy. I leaned on it when I was squatting to attach the lower magnets, and the whole bottom bent right in the center. The welds on the reinforcement piece are terrible, and it nearly fell off completely. I ended up fitting two 2x4s to span the entire width of the bottom for support. After this modification, the bottom is rock solid. After some rearranging in my shoppe, I ended up temporarily putting some parts bins on top of one of the two cabinets. While the load isn't enough to permanently bend the top, it did noticeably sag. On the upside, the shelves seem to be more solidly constructed than the top and bottom of the cabinet. I haven't seen any issues there, yet. The cabinets are big and roomy, and if you don't put too much weight on the bottom or top of the cabinet, I think they'll serve well enough. They cost about 60% of what heavy duty cabinets from Uline would have cost. If I knew then what I know now about these cabinets, I would have just spent the extra money.

I bought 3 of these units in red to go in my shop. They arrived quickly and were well packaged. All parts were present, instructions were clear, and assembly was fairly easy. An electric screwdriver helped speed assembly because there are a lot of screws. The units are sturdy, hold alot, and look great.
