I was real reluctant to purchase a mattress online. I read most the reviews and took a chance, it was a great decision! The mattress is soft but not to soft, very comfortable. If you are undecided on whether to take the chance like I did, "DO IT" you won't regret it. This mattress is easily better than the mattresses I layed on in the price range well over $1500.

I am 46 years old and have been in 2 bad car wrecks (neither one my fault! :-) ) and a work related accident that have left me with constant lower back pain for the last 10 years. I had pretty much resigned myself to thinking that it was something that I was going to have to deal with for the rest of my life. Not anymore. My back has not felt this good since I was in my 20's. I am getting much better sleep and overall feel so much better. I had looked at memory foam mattresses at some of the big retail stores, and never thought I would get one because they were so expensive. When I found this for a fraction of the price I was excited. I, like many of the others on here, was a bit concerned about buying without trying, but I knew I liked memory foam and thought that with the easy return policy from Sam's it was worth a shot. Am I ever glad I did! This thing is incredible. For both my wife and I it is the perfect mix of plushness with the top layer being fairly soft, but it has other layers just below that that give good support. No pressure points, just an incredibly comfortable mattress. Had I known how much better I would feel and how much better I would be sleeping I would have done this years ago and paid the several thousand dollars that the name brands charge. As others have mentioned there is a bit of chemical smell when you get it. It is not horrible and doesn't burn your eyes or make you light headed or anything, it is just noticeable. We took the cover off it (it is a soft cloth cover that just zips on and off pretty easily) and put it in the washer, and we let just the foam air out for a couple days in another room with a fan on it, sprayed Febreeze on it a couple times and did the walking all over it thing to squeeze the air out. It was still slightly noticeable when we first slept in it, not enough to deter sleep or anything, but after about 3-5 days of sleeping on it was almost completely gone and now after a couple of weeks it is completely gone. I am so glad I found this. I will never go back to a conventional mattress. If you are on the fence about getting it, stop. Just buy it. You will be so glad you did!!!! P.S. - You might want to get a loud alarm clock along with this - you are going to need it!

although we have only had a few weeks, so far its great except that perimeter of top layer of foam needs some more firmness. When you try to sit on the bed you tend to slide off due to the large edge radius created, especially if your feet arent firmly planted on the floor. Other than that great sleeping.

The product arrived quickly, expanded to full size in seconds and had no smell. It was very comfortable from the first night but not soft enough for the extreme fibro that cripples my wife until we added the 4 inch topper that we also bought from Sams a couple years ago. She now gets the only good sleep that she has had in 7 years.

Purchasing this mattress was a leap in faith. I'd never seen it nor even sat on it. I did a lot of research on various types of mattresses, and the satisfaction stats indicated I should switch from my inner springs to a memory foam. Some general reviews said these mattresses tended to hold heat, so when I saw that the Sam's Club memory foam had gel to keep the mattress cool, I opted for it. I'm very happy with it. My husband thinks the sides are too soft; he feels like he's going to roll off the side of the bed. He's a big man, so that may account for his sensation. I don't feel that way. On the inner spring mattress, I was waking up a few times a night with pains in my hips. That hasn't happened with this memory foam. My old queen-size sheets fit on it fine. I'm using the box spring from my old mattress under this one, and it's working fine. The delivery was fast. The price was hundreds of dollars lower than a comparable mattress in a department store or specialty mattress store. We aired out the new mattress on our patio for one day, and that solved the odor problem. All in all, I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I bought this mattress after doing a lot of research and it is well worth every penny. I have it on a basic frame from Ikea ($50) basic slats($30) and its like speeping on a cloud every night. As a Side sleeper I had an issue with my arm falling asleep, not with this mattress. I would recomend this mattess to anyone regardless of your sleeping position. I sleep soundly every night now no issues. Had no issues with smell as even the manufacure mentioned.

I bought this mattress in 2011 for my guest room and all my guests raved about how well they slept. I finally bought a king size for my bed and have been sleeping like a baby ever since. O Yeah! I also purchased 2 more full size mattresses for my kids. In total I have purchased 4! I don't think you will ever get a bad review for these mattresses:-)!!!

Bed arrived in large box that barely fit thru the doorway. Thankfully we laid it next to the bedframe to open because the mattress has no upholstered handles and is very difficult to move once out of the wrapping. Slept on it that night and awoke with backaches next morning due to the firmness of this mattress. Each night thereafter got better, and now two weeks later we are very satisfied and are sleeping much better than with our old mattress. Never noticed any odor that some refer to. Only disappointment is that the fabric cover is not very attractive with the blue contrasting stripe around the sides. Would've gladly paid more for upholstery upgrade (esp. if with handles!). And could have rated mattress 5 star.

Love this mattress! Have previously owned a My Comfort and a Sleep Number P5 mattress. Decided we loved the memory foam support and comfort and the cool layer technology on this one makes it the perfect mattress. You really do stay cool. It did put off a little bit of an odor when we first unrolled it but the smell went away within a couple of days. We just plopped it on top of our Sleep Number adjustable base. This mattress is heavy so there is no need to secure it to the base...it stays perfectly in place no matter what position we have the base in. I would say this mattress is more on the firm side...more so than our My Comfort but it still conforms to your every curve and you feel weightless. My husband and I are both about 200 lbs each and we sleep great on this mattress. What a great value too!

I bought this because of severe backpain, I was hesitant to write a review until I was more certain. I did not sleep much on the 1st night because it was very different to what I was used to but since then I have slept better each night and my back pain has gotten better with each night. I am hopping that my back will be 100% within a couple months.
