My absolute favorite mattress ever. I owned many TEMPUR-PEDIC mattresses. This is my favroite out of all of them. BUT...When are they going to bring back the King Size? I need it!! Still waiting :(

We should have taped the whole process of getting the mattress upstairs and into the bedroom. Then the hilarious part of removing the wrap around the mattress. As soon as we started to open the plastic the mattress started to expand and my husband was trying to rip off the wrap as fast as possible. The mattress expands quickly! There really wasn't much of an odor but just to be on the safe side we turned on the air purifier and closed the bedroom door for the night. We slept downstairs. The next day I couldn't detect any odor and I have all kinds of migraine triggers, no problems what so ever. Slept on the new mattress the night after we received it. Husband and I both slept really well. I would say that it took us less that a week to completely adjust to the memory foam mattress as opposed to our old traditional mattress. I had a tendency to sleep really close to the edge of the mattress and I don't do that any more as the mattress really gives if you are next to the edge. It's hard to explain because the mattress overall has a LOT MORE SUPPORT than a traditional mattress; just don't expect that firmness at the edges. I have a lot of hip pain when I lie down. I won't say that this new mattress has allowed me to sleep pain free but I do sleep better and feel much better when I get up. My husband is really liking the new mattress and he really did not want a memory foam mattress! Here are a couple more items of interest if you have never slept on memory foam. It does sleep warmer but not hot! We got our new mattress in the middle of the summer and have no complaints. We live in Maine (yes, it does get hot here) and the winters are COLD so we used a mattress warmer on the traditional mattress. You can't use one with this type of mattress. As far as I can tell the memory foam seems to take any heat from your body and send it back to your body to keep you warm. Yet it doesn't make you hot. Regular mattress pads are not recommended as far as the "experts" say. There was an article that I read about some guy doing a study to find the best mattress pad to use with memory foam mattresses and he came up with two brands. One is next to impossible to find. The other is carried by quite a few places but you have to shop around for the best price. The mattress pad is called Protect a Bed and you would not know you were sleeping on anything extra. It is made so that it does not mess with the features of a memory foam mattress. I did a lot of research on memory foam mattresses. It took me several days and a lot of reading to decide this was the right mattress for us. This is an awesome value.

I purposely waited to write this review. This mattress with the roll out slat system is the perfect combination for me. Easy to install. As a disabled veteran my back is 'hyper-sensitive whereas tossing and turning on my old mattress often left me in more pain. Now this mattress, supports and flexes with my mattress genie. There's no need for a mattress pad but I did need extra deep pocket sheet set to accommodate this mammoth but worth it. I can sleep easier and can now rule out the mattress as a source of additional pain. Thanks, this is just what I needed. USMC/USAF/ANG

The stories about these mattresses are true. A wonderful sleeping expierience and worth every penny.Your entire body is supported and is very easy to fall asleep.Getting out of bed requires a little more effort and if you are prone to nite sweats be careful because this is a very warm and soothing way to sleep.

I bought this mattress 2 months ago and i have to say it is the most comfortable mattress i have ever slept on in the 57 years of my life. I am 250 lb. man and was sceptical when i first read the reviews. i was concerned that it would be too soft or too hard as some of the reports had posted. i used to wake up with a back ache on my old mattress but now that is not the case. If you are wanting a comfortable bed (and yes it is cool with the gel) then go ahead and get it. You will not find a better one for the price.

I had been wanting a Memory Foam Mattress for many years after sleeping on one at a Hotel. I picked this particular mattress because it was engineered to sleep cooler than the others. After sleeping a very short time, 2 weeks, I can tell you that this mattress is no different than the mattress it replaced as far as heat goes. My Wife and I are still adjusting to sleeping on a memory foam mattress but so far I have noticed that My lower back pain is improved substantially. The price for this mattress is very reasonably, particularly if you have received a priced catalog from the Tempur Pedic people. I must refrain from recommending this mattress at this time because I have not slept enough on it to be sure. I hope to prepare another review in the future after I have had a sufficient amount of time to provide a reliable review.

My husband and I had a pillowtop and I have always had beck problems. I would wake up throughout the night and with back pain in the mornings. We have had this mattress for about 2 weeks now and it is awesome. I wake up without back pain and I get a better nights rest. I was amazed at how great the price was and I was thinking it was too go to be true but I love it. I would highly recommend this mattress to anyone.

We've had this mattress for a few weeks now and it's still comfortable. It does have a faint scent - so I'd suggest letting it air out for a bit. It also takes two (normal-sized) people to carry the box, due to its bulky size. The bed expanded in minutes - I'd suggest putting it on your box spring, then cut the plastic. Anyhow, the bed was very comfortable. I'm mainly a belly/side sleeper and I no longer have pinch points in my arms. I'm not much of a back sleeper because of the pain inner springs caused - but with this bed I was able to lay on my back for quite a while and never had any pain! This bed is truly comparable (if not better) than the Tempur beds. This bed does hold in some heat, especially if you have someone else sleeping in it with you... but it's not nearly as bad as other foam beds. As for my size, I'm 170 and I don't sink in too much. The sides will give away to you so you can't sleep right on the side... but this should be obvious since the entire bed is foam. Someone previously pointed out that this mattress is not firm. I would somewhat disagree - but it really depends on how big you are. If you're normal size/weight - it will be moderately firm at first. If you're bigger, it probably won't be as firm as an innerspring. All-in-all, I would recommend (and already have) this mattress. It's also worth taking the risk to buy it online - if you don't like it, you can always take it back to your local Sam's club or call them to possibly have it picked up!

Ordering was easy and the mattress was delivered quickly. Unpacked the mattress and let it set for 12 hours before placing it on bed frame. The firmness was ideal for me and the gel layer helps to keep you from overheating during the night. This combo leads to more comfort and less tossing and turning.

We bought queen size. This mattress is too soft even it says firm. It is good firm support, if you sleep in middle of the mattress alone, but two people each side of this, you feels no support toward to edges. So if you really looking for good firm mattress, don't buy this.
