Purchased online sight unseen and it is the best mattress i've ever owned. It's of better quality for the brand names that cost thousands of dollars. Unpacked and slept on first night. There was very slight smell which dissipated in the first day. I am going to buy another for my guest room.

I am sure there are better beds available but for the money this is a solid purchase. Opinions are like snowflakes so I will stick to facts then give my opinion. Package - This is heavy at 117lbs (king) I had a hard time lifting it from my truck to carry it in the house. More than the weight it is the dimensions. Once I got it in the house I pulled it from the box and noted it was rolled and wrapped. It popped right into shape once removed from the bag and plastic. There was very little odor that dissipated in a few hours. ** The mattress exterior is white and the fabric can snag easily. I was very careful but still managed to get a snag. (not happy but my fault). ** Construction - The product from what I can see if well made no loose stitching If I could add one thing it would be handles on the side. The mattress itself is very hard to move around since there is really nothing to grab ahold of. ** Overall I am very happy with the purchase. *** Now the opinions - This mattress replaces a Sealy pillow top 13-14 inch mattress that was 9.5-10 years old that we paid around 1500 dollars for. ** 1. I do love this purchase I have circulation problems and would suffer from leg pain it is all but abated. My wife works on her feet and her back and legs feel much better. The mattress does form fit to you and it relieves pressure. 2. Heat - I have heard complaints about these mattresses and heat was a concern my wife says I am like a furnace and so far I have not had any issues at all. I don't feel any different when sleeping. 3. I am a side sleeper but I always start on my back. Once you butt sinks in, the mattress does an excellent job conforming to your body relieving all pressure. I love to read in bed again. 4. Before this purchase my wife would go to bed with me then head into another room because of discomfort. Since this purchase we sleep together through the whole night. ***** In summary I sleep and feel better as an added bonus my wife sleeps with me again. Overall the best money I spent in 2014.

I have spent thousands, and thousands of dollars on mattresses in the past 15 years, yet, this is the very first time we do not have lower back pain, ever!! Purchasing this $492 mattress is the best purchase we have ever made!!. All I can say is that I can not imagine anyone not LOVING this mattress! I have seen the reviews where folks complain about firmness, and smell. There is a very easy fix for that. When you unpack the mattress, walk all over it for 10 minutes. This will open up all the cells, and release the smell of the latex. We unpacked this mattress, walked all over it for 10 minutes, let it sit overnight, and slept on it the next day. Neither my wife or myself can even detect the smell of latex, and the mattress did open up to it's full 13". The last few days have been the best nights sleep each of us have ever had, for as long as we can remember. No sweating at all, actually may be better than a normal mattress! Don't consider the complaints about being too hot, the gel takes care of that in entirety. But this mattress, you will be very happy!!

I also bought this mattress sight unseen. I read the reviews and was still leary of what I might get. I had been looking for a mattress for the past 18 yrs. that would compare to the waterbed I used to have. I had done away with the waterbed, because I was moving a lot and filling it and unfilling it was becoming a hassle. That's when I switched to a regular inner spring mattress. Every mattress that I have purchased, 4 in the past 18 yrs. would develope sags and lumps. I felt as if I was always sleeping down in a hole. My husband and I are not over weight, so it wasn't because of that. The first set cost over $2000, and many others that were name brands and highly priced would have to be trashed after a few years wear. I also have had back pain since I was a teen. Just recently I hurt my back and I have 3 slipped discs. I am taking P.T. and have sciatic pain down my leg. I have to wake up an hour early just to start walking. This mattress is the best purchase ever. I love the material it's made from. Not too soft or too firm. I feel like Goldilocks. My pain is getting much better and I'm sleeping and am much more rested. The only thing I wish was different is that it was a lot thicker. For the style headboard I have I could have used a mattress that was 15" or more to help with the looks of my bed. Other than that I can't complain. If you're tired of shopping around to find one that meets many needs, health issues, different support between you and your spouse, or something great for the value....you have to try this one.

We've had our mattress for 3 months and it's been the best 3 months sleep that we've ever had! After looking for several months at the more expensive brands, I was a little skeptical since this mattress was so inexpensive. I liked the fact that the item could be returned if I wasn't satisfied, so we gave it a try. The feel is hard to explain, its firm but like sleeping on a cloud. I wake up in the morning looking forward to going to bed! Love, love, love this mattress!

It has been a little over a month since I have been sleeping on the Night Therapy Elite 13" MyGel. I have been very pleased with the new matress I was actually going to purchase one of the big name brand matresses but started doing a little research and ran across this one couldn't be more satisfied. I was having some serious back issues from our old spring matress which we had paid around 2,000 dollars that only held up for about 5yrs. very dissapointed in it. Since I have been sleeping on the new matress my back pain is about 95% gone, I am feeling better and more rested due to the deeper sleep I am getting matress is firm but not very firm my wife is also getting better sleep. As every one else mentioned there is a slight smell when you first unpackage but that goes away after about 3-4 days. The only reaseon I did not give it 5 stars is because I want to see what kind of longevity the matress will hold up to but other than that you can't beat this matress for this price and comfort if your not satisfied you can always return it to SAMS!!

it took a while to decide on buying this after reading all the reviews as i would have liked to try the mattress first before, but i figured i take a gamble as it's not that big of a purchase compared to other brand name mattresses and sams has a great exchange and return policy. After waiting 5 days of trial of this mattress, then i decided to leave a review. At first, once received make sure you have someone to help you carry it especially if its going upstairs. Aprox weight 95lbs. in box. The smell was not that bothersome as many described within a couple of days it was completely gone. After unpacking the mattress, it took about 4 hours for it to completely retain it's original shape. The first night of sleep was ok, as you need to prob get used to sleeping on a memory foam type mattress especially if you have been sleeping on a spring mattress all your life. 2nd night of sleep was beyond what was expected, i did not move at all while sleeping i woke up in the same position i was in, i am a back sleeper and side one as well. This mattress just cradles you and gives you support where you really need it. i have been getting deep uninterrupted sleep thru the night even my wife was extremely satisfied with sleep quality you get on this product as she used to toss and turn a lot thru the night on our previous spring mattress. It's a different type of sleep that you get. I have always had plush pillow top spring mattresses and i prefer a slightly softer mattress, this one is rated firm, but i think it should rate slightly firm which was really good, but wasn't too soft and cushy it really has a perfect balance of softness and firm support without any pressure points that leave you numb after laying on it the same position for a while. Compared to name brand memory foam mattresses, the price is really a bargain. The cost of shipping is reasonable compared to other stores delivery fees and what sams charges to deliver, but still would have preferred to see and try it in person before buying i prob would've purchased it sooner, It took me 2 weeks to decide after reading all reviews that i was skeptical about to finally purchase a mattress online for the first time. It definitely was a good choice and great buy. Unfortunately the only drawback is there are no long term reviews as to the quality of the mattress whether is retains its shape and support or if starts loosing its quality after a few months of sleep on it, i guess only time will tell.

My husband and I are opposites when it comes to mattresses. He wants a firm mattress and I want a soft one. I injured my lower back in a fall and if my mattress is too firm, I can't walk in the morning. A couple of years ago we spent over $1,300 for a queen size mattress the salesman promised would satisfy both of us. Neither one of us can sleep comfortably on it. This night therapy mattress is perfect. It's firm enough for him and soft enough for me.....and at less than half the price. The top layer of gel foam fills in the curvature at the base of my spine and gives me the soft support I need. We both get a great night's rest and don't wake up feeling stiff and sore for the first time in years. We did not notice any smell at all when the mattress arrived. I love this mattress so much I bought a queen size one for my guest room. I want my visiting friends and family to sleep as well as I do. I highly recommend this mattress to everyone. I've only had it a few months so I don't know how it will hold up but at this price even if I have to buy one every four years, it will cost me slightly over $150 per year - way less than the mattress we both dislike.

Love this mattress because it contours the body. It leaves you very refreshed in the morning with no muscle or spine pain. The only negative is for the height challenged individuals under 5'5 such as myself; be prepared to purchase a step stool to get in.

Bought the bed based on the reviews here. I had read so many reviews on high-priced big brand name mattresses, both good and bad, that I did not want to risk a lot of money on a foam mattress that I wouldn't be able to return. Some stores require you to exchange their mattress (probably only option is a more expensive one) and some stores here in Denver had no return or exchange policy. With Sam's return policy, I felt there was no risk. Good decision. I got a high quality mattress and an excellent price and I could have returned it if I didn't like it. Fortunately I really like it. It is firm but the top feels cushy when you lay on it. I was really suprised that it feels so firm but I fall asleep faster and no longer do I toss and turn all night. I find sometimes when I wake up that I am in the same position I went to sleep in. Mattress has a nice covering and I am pleased with the quality. Got the box springs at Sam's too, so convenient that they're in stock and you can get it when you want. Bed was delivered to my house, I'm an older lady and got it in the door myself and had a friend help me get it upstairs. Good buy! Saved me a lot of money over beds I was looking at in the stores!
