This mattress replaced our pillow top Stearns & Foster mattress. The pillow top was comfortable at first but after the break-in period of about the first 2-3 years the pillow top was not as comfortable nor gave me the back support that I really needed. After 2 back surgeries I really needed a more firm type of support and pillow top is not it. This mattress totally surprised me! When it arrived in a long rectangle box I thought....... did I order a water bed or air mattress?? Well it is a heavy mattress and thank goodness we opened it and set it up on our box springs frame instead of the floor. I think that it is recommended to wait 1-2 days for the mattress to fully expand and its shape. Well we couldn't wait so we slept on it the first night and it was awesome! The gel layer and memory foam on top just feels so cool and comfortable. I use to toss and turn all night on the old mattress trying to find a comfortable position to sleep but would wake with a stiff and painful back. But not anymore! I sure hope that my review helps for those who may be looking for a good supporting mattress. And one more thing to mention is that for us menopausal women, the cool gel top layer is great!

My husband and I are opposites when it comes to mattresses. He wants a firm mattress and I want a soft one. I injured my lower back in a fall and if my mattress is too firm, I can't walk in the morning. A couple of years ago we spent over $1,300 for a queen size mattress the salesman promised would satisfy both of us. Neither one of us can sleep comfortably on it. This night therapy mattress is perfect. It's firm enough for him and soft enough for me.....and at less than half the price. The top layer of gel foam fills in the curvature at the base of my spine and gives me the soft support I need. We both get a great night's rest and don't wake up feeling stiff and sore for the first time in years. We did not notice any smell at all when the mattress arrived. I love this mattress so much I bought a queen size one for my guest room. I want my visiting friends and family to sleep as well as I do. I highly recommend this mattress to everyone. I've only had it a few months so I don't know how it will hold up but at this price even if I have to buy one every four years, it will cost me slightly over $150 per year - way less than the mattress we both dislike.

I just spent 1800 dollars on a new mattress for my bed and bought this mattress for my son's bed. This is much more comfortable than the expensive mattress I bought. Wish I would have bought this mattress first. I could have saved myself a lot of money.

I bought this mattress in 2011 for my guest room and all my guests raved about how well they slept. I finally bought a king size for my bed and have been sleeping like a baby ever since. O Yeah! I also purchased 2 more full size mattresses for my kids. In total I have purchased 4! I don't think you will ever get a bad review for these mattresses:-)!!!

I was very skeptical in the purchase of this type of bed. I researched beds for about a year with this one always in the mix. I bought gel pillows 1st and having liked how they worked I went for the bed. I let it expand for three days and I slept better the 1st night. My wife loves it since she floats on top , since I am a heavy guy I do settle in. It is not a problem and its just different. Our old mattress was an air mattress and we had it blown up to the max. My research told me to go with 6lb foam but this is a good compromise.

It's only been a few days, but both my wife and I have experienced fewer morning body aches than with our previous spring mattress. I was hoping for something with more support and so far, this has been exactly what I was looking for. Like others, I would rate it as moderately firm, but with plenty of "plushness" in the top inch or two to provide that satisfying "ahhhhhh" feeling when you first lie down. I am very satisfied with the purchase thus far and just hope it will last beyond a few short years before we feel any sagging or body cavity marks.

I have suffered from back pain for years and have tried several mattresses with this one being at the top. I sleep well and wake with no back pain Shipping was on time and the chemical smell took about three days to dissipate. We used the bed the same day we got it and it fully expanded within two days. I would buy this product again. I picked this bed due to the reviews on this website and am not disappointed. I ordered this item and received it as promised, (YAY Fedex!!). Unpacked it and put it on our bed, with help from my neighbor. I didn't detect any smell as some of the other reviewers commented about. I took my shower and laid down on the bed just to check it out. I was AMAZED with the comfort; and the fact that for once in what appeared to be forever, all of my body from my head to my feet was being supported by the mattress, (My head, neck, shoulders,upper back, lower back, hips, thighs, calves, ankles, achilles, heels of feet, EVERY INCH!!). I am a big man, (6'2, 350#), and I found myself falling asleep within minutes!! When my wife came home from Sams with our new King Sheets, we made the bed and set out to enjoy our evening. When we went to bed we both fell asleep quickly and slept through the whole night without our usual waking up. The next morning we awoke, and I realized that my back wasn't hurting like it normally does every morning on our innerspring mattress. I thought..."Hmm, this is pretty cool, no back pain". Yesterday was a GOOD day!!! Well, this morning was morning #2 on our Night Therapy mattress and NO BACK PAIN, AND FEELING AWESOME!!!! Can't wait for my body to get fully rested up from this amazing mattress!!!!

(only negative here but put it up front: There is NO "White Glove" delivery service available on Memory Foam Mattresses, even though it said so on my receipt. YOU will be responsible for the removal and disposal of your old mattress! It is delivered by FEDEX) OK this is long... But, I will start by saying "BUY THIS ONE... YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!! My Story: I have been shopping for a Memory Foam Mattress for many months. Last year, from the other Club, I purchased my Mom a Queen Memory Foam Mattress, ($600) to replace her Sterns & Fosters $2,500 Pillow Top mattress that was about 9 years old, but was causing her terrible pressure point pains. I had spent hours reading reviews and chose the one from the other club because she likes Medium Firm and what I purchased for her stated that was a "Medium-Firm" She always said she was "happy with it". This past month (June/July 2017) I began researching to purchase a new Mattress for myself. I was discussing it with my Mom, that I was going to purchase a new Mattress. My Serta $1,200 Pillow Top was really getting "saggy" and uncomfortable, the pillow top was lumpy and you could feel the springs in certain places. It was really causing me distress, to the point where my Chiropractor told me, "You need to get a new mattress, I think that's what is causing all of your neck pain". So, Mom and I were discussing this and she said "Well do NOT buy the one you got me" ... I was shocked... she said that although the joint and pressure pain was gone, she felt it was way too firm. So, I asked if one day I could take a nap in the afternoon and try it out! OMG ... it was almost like sleeping on the floor, it was so firm. (I felt bad she never told me, I would have returned it within the first 90 days) So I went back and re-read the reviews and in the recent year all the complaints were that her mattress I chose at the other club was too firm. So I chose this mattress... OMG... it is PERFECT. I would call this Medium-Firm support. Just enough softness to be very comfortable, but firm enough to feel very supported. I am a man 5'11" tall and weigh 185lbs. and after just two nights of sleep on this mattress, my neck, knee and hip pain have been greatly reduced WITHOUT a trip to my chiropractor! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MATTRESS!!! There was NO detectable odors when I opened it up. Very Easy to Un-Box and set up. Though with two people it is easier.

The mattress is soft and comfortable, but is too soft for me. You sink into the mattress which makes it very confining to me. I'm 160 pounds. Not easy to roll from side to side. It made me feel like I was in a straight jacket. Not easy to sit up from lying position. To get out of bed, it was easier to roll to the side and get out. This mattress got a lot of good reviews but these reviewers must really like really soft mattresses. Not all foam mattresses are the same. I returned this one (major pain) and got a 12" thick Serta which is a lot firmer but still contours to your body just enough.
