I was happy with the soft quiet ride of these tires but 25,000 miles later they will not pass my next inspection. These tires were rotated every 5,000 miles at the dealership. The performance and handling was fine, My issue is the 60,000 mile thing is quite far off. I've purchased other tires that lasted well over 60K for less money. I would not leave a poor rating on tire wear if my vehicle was not new and aligned getting frequent tire rotations. Some people leave bad reviews even though their old poorly aligned junker is at fault for tire eating and that's not the way I would act.

I guess the one good thing about outsourcing to China is the rare exception when you get to experience western quality service and workmanship. My recent experience with Michelin was such an amazingly awesome experience. I will remember this experience and share it with everyone I know for as long as I live.

Although this is my first time having to put these kind of tires on any vehicle, I must say that they are great, I noticed a great improvement as soon as I took it on the highway, in my industry of driving in all sorts of climate I depend on tires the most, not that I am looking forward to winter but I can't wait to see how these great Michelin LTX A/T 2 do! Hope never to be disappointed cause I have two more vehicles to buy them for??!

These are the second set of these tires I've had on my 2000 dodge ram 2500. the first set came with the truck and wore down after 45k miles. not too bad, but it was all hwy driving, occasionally pulling a horse trailer with 2 horses. nothing taxing. The second set have less than 26k miles on them and have developed some bulging on the sides. There is still a lot of tread on these tires and they offer brilliant grip on gravel roads and in snow and slush. Ride is very comfortable. I've been very impressed with ride quality, just not longevity of the tire.

I've been driving Ford E250's since 1990. After wearing out the factory installed tires at 40,000 Km. I put on new Michelin LT235/85R16 (120/116R). I have Michelin on all my trucks and cars.These tires have stood the test of time, through heavy loads and heavy towing, winter and summer. Vehicles handle incredible. Now at 400 000 km on my 2009 E250 the tires need replacing. After requesting the LT235/85R16 (120/116R) from my tire guy who I have always dealt with. He notified me that these tires are no longer available from Michelin. He recommended the Hankook Dyna Pro RH12 LT235/85R16. I was not impressed. I know I will not be satisfied with the performance or short life of these tires. I like and want Michelin. Please let me know. Are Michelin LT235/85R16 really not available? These tires perform in all types of roadway conditions and do so while delivering excellent fuel economy and unsurpassed comfort. The tires are quiet with no road noise which is important on longer trips. I was concerned the tread would make noise before the purchase, but I can assure you they are very quiet.

I purchased the LTX A/T2 after searching and researching for the best all around all terrain tire. When I say all around I examined tire capabilities, wet and dry traction, road noise, load range, etc. While the LTX A/T 2 is expensive you get what you pay for. These have been on my Silverado for nearly 3 years and the hardly look worn. Traction is excellent, wet or dry, and for an all terrain they do well off road. I rotate at every oil change and have never had to rebalance these tires. I have always liked Michelins on my passenger cars and would buy another set for this truck (if I ever wear them out)!

If you can 'afford' the 'best' these are the tires to get. I travel across Michigan weekly in all four seasons. Have a cabin 1/2 mile off of a dirt road. hunt. I fish. I go on two tracks. I don't like to nor do I get stuck...., yet very quiet on the highway.

I've had a set of the LTX A/T2s on my 4Runner for about 4 years now. Excellent tires that grip well offroad and run fairly smooth on the highway. I'm definitely not expecting the same long life like my last set of LTX M/S (99,900!!!), but they seem to be holding up fairly well right now at around 55,000 miles. My next purchase will likely be the M/S tires again, but only because I'm on paved roads so much more... Otherwise, these are great tires!

I Love these tires. After the factory tires on my Trailblazer wore out I purchased A set os these AT2's. They are sweeet on road & off. The aggressive tread gets me to my fishing holes off the beaten path on gravel or in light mud without worry. My wife loves the quite ride & added safety of knowing in wet weather she is in good hands. I had the pleasure of driving in a Buffalo NY snow storm last winter on these tires & was amazed at the traction on snow & yes, ICE too. No problem going up sloped drives that hadn't been plowed yet. If your looking for an all around tire that will satisfy all your family needs, this is it.
