This is my third SUV that I have bought the Michelin LTX M/S. They give me great traction and control in the ever changing winter weather in Colorado. I also appreciate the lower amount of road noise in the summer. I have also found that they get better mileage than listed if your driving is non-aggressive. Whenever I go off road for fishing or camping I never worry about road or vehicle control. I always recommend these tires to all my friends that have trucks or SUV's.

I've driven on all brands of tires, and the Michelin LTX M/S is one of the strongest, longest lasting tires I've ever had. The first set went 70k, and I was going on a long trip so I thought it was time to replace them. I looked at the tread and it was about half worn! I went on my trip and saved the money and drove another 15k before replacing with the same thing. Cant tell you how many miles the next set got, but I put 50k on them and sold the truck. They might still be on there as far as these babys go! My Tahoe is getting due for tires and I know what is going on! MIchelin LTX M/S

A few months back I slapped on my second set of Michelin tires AFTER I finished getting 100k miles from my last set of LTX M/S! I truly believe regular rotations/balancing and proper inflation make all the difference in the world. Yes, these tires have a premium up-front, but you definitely get what you pay for in this case. That's why I have a new set of Michelins on my 4Runner now and we just put a new set on my wife's new MDX this past summer. I really have no desire to buy another brand - my experience with those tires was that good!

I had a set of these on my Chevy Blazer some years back. I kept them rotated and balanced every 5,000 miles. I got 102,000 miles out of these tires. I thought they would dry rot before I would wear them out. I only buy Michelin tires for my vehicles. If they come with some other tire when purchased new then I swap out to Michelin.

I had purchased some for my Suburban and planned to keep the vehicle until the tires wore out. The vehicle wore out before the tires did. When my tires needed to be replaced on my next vehicle I did not hesitate to replace them with Michelin. I've got almost as many miles on them as I did on the original tires and they have shown very little wear.

this tire came out on my 2001 jeep wrangler and i replaced them on 2007 with 72,000 miles on them and there was still 4/32 tread left. I purchased a new set for this and they are wonderful, no shake or pull only smooth ride and long life. I am also able to go anywhere I need to go in the winter. I also purchased a set for my 2002 Jeep Liberty with the same good results! There is no other tire for me but a Michelin. Thanks for a wonderful product!

My first set of tires which came with my 2006 Honda Ridgeline gave me 93000 miles and I know I could easily have gotten another 5000 miles out of them.I replaced them with the same tires which now have over 25000 miles and are showing no wear at all.I rotate my tires every 10000 miles.Thank you Michelin for a great product. I only have 6,000 miles on these tires. Just did my first rotation. I am very pleased with which the tires have preformed so far. We do alot of highway driving. The tires are great at highway speeds they hold the road well and are great on wet an slipper roads. What really impressed me more was how the tires handle rocky gravelly bumpy roads. My Jeep GC rides over these roads with such ease. The handling is excellent with good steering control over the bumps and potholds and the interior ride is comfortably smooth considering that thiese are unpaved gravel roads. This is my first set of Michelin tires and I would buy these tires again.

Bought a set of Defender LTX M/S tires about 6 months ago. When I first drove with them I noticed that they were very noisy. Had them rotated and balanced at 6000 miles. I discussed the noise problem with the dealer and he had a technician drive my vehicle after the tires were rotated. The technician said the tires sounded quiet to him. I had him ride with me and he said he could hear the tire noise but considered them to be quiet, "quieter than most". I have never had tires this noisy. I would not recommend these tires if you want a quiet ride.

I use these on my 1999 Ford Conversion Van which I use to pull a 3,000 lb trailer. I got about 80.000 miles on the first set and 10.000 so far on the second. Never had a flat, love the traction, can't beat the tread-life. Can't imagine how they could be any better.
