A few months back I slapped on my second set of Michelin tires AFTER I finished getting 100k miles from my last set of LTX M/S! I truly believe regular rotations/balancing and proper inflation make all the difference in the world. Yes, these tires have a premium up-front, but you definitely get what you pay for in this case. That's why I have a new set of Michelins on my 4Runner now and we just put a new set on my wife's new MDX this past summer. I really have no desire to buy another brand - my experience with those tires was that good!

I have been purchasing tis type tire since my truck since 2000 and have nothing but great thing to say about the ride, wear and durability of these tire. I have purchased all types of times in almost 40 years and now I am sold on Michelin that they are the only tires I purchase now for my veheciles.

I had Michelin LTX M/S for 80,000 miles on my 1999 Durango. Awesome, best tire I ever owned. Suv died before tires. Tires were still good. I was so pleased, I put brand new ones on my 2001 Tahoe with 200,000 miles. I only have 30,000 miles on new tires, but feel like brand new. I will buy again. A little more expensive up front, but over life of tire, I don't think you can buy any better tire(for a big SUV) period.

I have been buying Michelin tires for over 45 years. This is the set has lasted 3 years and perform as good as the first day. The set before this lasted over 9 years. They just don't wear out. If you keep them rotated and balanced and alinement you will get long tread life from them. I love the performance in both on and off the road because I drive up to the ranch on dirt and gravel roads. These tires are the best tire on the market today and are the best I have ever owned. They are smooth and quiet riding on the highway. Don't be fooled by moucho looking brands these tires will out perform any other brand hands down you can take my word on that. I have had very heavy loads in my truck and they handle them very well. These are the best tires made in the world.

This is my second set of Michelin defenders. I got approx. 65000 miles on first set easily. I liked them so much I replaced them with another. Great in snow or wet conditions. Low road noise. Keep rotating these tires every oil change and you’ll never have any problems with wearing.

Replaced my Michelin Latitude Tour HPs (after 50,000 miles) on my 2009 Acura MDX with the four new Defender LTX MS. Have had them for only a month now, but really like them. Smooth, quiet, and seem to hug the road well in wet and dry conditions. Have driven them on highway and city....perform well in both instances.

I replaced the stock tires on my Dodge Ram Hemi truck at 20,000 miles with Michelin 20 inch LTX M/S due to the fact they handled so poorly when it rained. The stock tires had become quite dangerous on a wet road due to hydroplaning, failure to stop and oversteer at low speeds as if I was driving on ice. They were very easy to break traction with on a dry road as well. The tires still appeared brand new and had plenty of tread left and had always been poor performers from the time the truck was new. The new Michelin tires made me feel like I was driving a different truck and all the problems I had been encountering in wet conditions were solved. The LTX M/S performs wonderfully well on a wet road and are pretty difficult to break loose on a dry road. The handling characteristics are superb and when you consider the mileage rating, Michelins cannot be beat.

I've had these tires for a couple of months now. The wet and dry handling and braking are excellent, similar to that of the Michelin Premier LTXs that were on the car previously. I hear a slight bit more road noise, and I feel more road imperfections with these Defenders than with the Premiers. But I believe that's because these Defenders have a more aggressive tread design and a longer-wearing (firmer) tread compound than the Premiers. That should mean that the Defenders will have better performance in the snow, and they should last longer; two traits I look forward to experiencing.

Just very happy with tires. handles wet weather great. roads in fl when raining us to give me a problem b4 getting these. i highly rec. these. and i would purchase again!!! safety first. its funny but i always ck tires b4 driving any where just encase a flat or something..and i see my tires and said to myself self GOOD PURCHASE!!
