The steaks were good, but most of the time on the prime cut they throw in 1 of the 2 steaks an end cut. Some butchers might even label these as "End Cut" and offer them at a discount.

This steak meets all three "T's in steak Tough Tasteless Terrible and over priced. 50% gristle makes for THE nastiest...THE worst steak I have ever had. Recommendation don't buy. Save your money.

My wife and I buy Sam's choice NY strip steak all the time and never have had a bad one. But the Prime ones are not worth buying in our opinion. Tough and chewy no matter how you cook them. Wil not buy them again.

Home made dry rub and salt. Slow cooked it on the cooler part of our grill for 45 minutes. Reverse sear on the gar part of the grill. Came out perfecto.

Awful. Tough. Hard to cut and difficult to chew. Was supposed to be Prime. Grilled it medium and could not eat it. Will never buy steak here again.
