Works great... Fast!... Has everything I wanted; The ONLY thing I would recommend changing is the number of different Programs installed in the Automatic Installation... as well as adding to Startup... Way too many! And I couldn't figure out what several were for... I uninstalled a few (some were obv bloatware / A PDF app?... Already have one!) and afterwards still works perfectly!

We were looking for a b/w only printer for our home office. This was shipped free with our Sam Plus Membership. Pleasantly surprised at how small the footprint is for the device. Does not automatically duplex but thought our need for that didn't warrant the excessive cost in other printers that had that capability. Great purchase-- easy to connect to network and locate with WiFi from phone or laptops. Definitely would recommend if you're looking for a b/w printer.

Received my new Brother all in one printer within a few days. I got some help with the setup which went well. Everything seems to work fine as expected, but time will tell. We already had a couple of Brother machines in our office and have gotten good service on those machines.

bought this because my old brother 8480 finally bit the dust. I was concerned that this model would not hold up to my needs but was needlessly worried - this model does all that my old brother did without being hardwired to my computer! really love this printer.

Easy to set up, prints nice, and prints fast. There is a distinctive ring for the fax mode So you can differentiate between your phone ring and your fax ring if you only have one phone number and not a dedicated fax line. Also, since I saw a lot of questions from people asking about how to stop the fax from automatically answering, set it to TAD which is for a telephone answering device if you have an external answering device on your home phone, otherwise the fax will kick in before your answering machine. This is my first time trying a Brother printer and a laser printer, so far I like them both.

Very happy with my Brother printer. Setup took about 30 minutes. I downloaded the drivers for the printer which gave me the step by step setup to follow. For WiFi I pressed the WPS button on my router which the printer found. I did not have to enter the WEP password by using WPS. Printer scan, copy and print are great. Crisp print quality. Printer prints copies right away with no cycling and having to wait. Love the black print only and not having to continually insert color ink cartridges. Highly recommend!

Good overall printer/scanner. Don't use the fax function and finding that the inability to use the Auto Doc Feeder to do 2 sided copies is more of a pain than I anticipated. Still it does what I need, basic printing docs and occasional document scanning. 4 of 5 stars
