I purchased 4 sets of these towels (towel, hand towel, and wash cloths) because of the great reviews on here, feel of the towels, generous size, great colors and price. The towels feel and look great. Unfortunately, we never ever got to try them out. I washed 2 of the sets (according to the label directions) before using them (like you're supposed to) and they shrank horribly!!! The towels lost over 3 inches in length, and the hand towels shrank to 2/3 of the size. I was so excited for these towels. . .what a let down. Back to Sam's Club they go.

We loved these towels, super soft and super plush. Then we washed them. We bought two of them and they completely fell apart. We have a high end Samsung washer and we have never had another towel fall apart like these did. Almost ordered 8 more because they were so soft, good thing we washed the towels we had first! Great towels if you never need to wash them.

This is my second time I have purchased these towels from Sam's club on a whim. They are so thick and absorbent and just feel so much better from the old towels I have, I didn't realize how bad they were. I have washed with just detergent only, no softener no additives just the detergent. I then dried with wool balls and I have nowith just detergent only, no softener no additives just the detergent. When I see a comment about someone saying they just faded or bleached somehow I can't help but wonder if there were some kind of bleaching residual still in the washer. We love these towels.

I initially bought 6 towels in white about 2 years ago. At that time they were called Hotel Reserve or something like that. They have absolutely held up beautifully. I normally use bleach and hot water when I wash them. Lots and lots of use and still feel thick and absorbent. We recently renovated one of our bathrooms and I bought 4 of the platinum and dark grey towels, hand towels and wash cloths. Gorgeous colors and have washed up as good as the white, without using bleach, of course. I always wash new linens before using for the first time and from the first time using them, I've never had any lint left behind on my body when drying off. If you like a thick, thirsty and oversized towel at an affordable price, you can't go wrong with these. Please don't stop carrying these towels.
