I purchased 4 sets of these towels (towel, hand towel, and wash cloths) because of the great reviews on here, feel of the towels, generous size, great colors and price. The towels feel and look great. Unfortunately, we never ever got to try them out. I washed 2 of the sets (according to the label directions) before using them (like you're supposed to) and they shrank horribly!!! The towels lost over 3 inches in length, and the hand towels shrank to 2/3 of the size. I was so excited for these towels. . .what a let down. Back to Sam's Club they go.

I purchased these today and was a little bit hesitant about purchasing because of the reviews stating they shedded a lot. I washed them when I arrived home and found they did not shed hardly at all. They are very thick and luxurious. I plan on purchasing more. I hope they hold up as well as the previous towels I purchased last year from Sam’s that are no longer available.

I bought the previous version of these towels and absolutely loved them! Then I ordered more so I could add to my set, and the colors have changed. Extremely disappointed in this. The photos still show the old colors, but the color is no longer even close to the previous light blue color.

My first towel and washcloth purchase. The towels look beautiful in the store and seem to be of high quality. I washed them before first use. The amount of lint is shocking, I was really worried that this would clog up my dryer. I washed the towels 2 more times and there is still a lot of lint. Also I noticed loose strands throughout the towels. I believe this is either a bad batch or the towels are made of cheap cotton. I have doubt that the towels and washcloth will hold up and will last as long as my old towels. There is also a weird smelI to the towels even after washing. I am tempted to pull back my old towels. Needless to say I am very disappointed.

I 100% recommend the white towels. They are a great quality especially considering the price. However, the blue color ones I purchased I can’t use. I am donating them to the local animal rescue. The blue color has an absolutely disgusting odor that won’t come out. The smell is so bad it makes any clothing or towels near them smell too. I have washed them numerous times in HOT water with laundry baking soda, white vinegar, borax, several different types of laundry detergent and NOTHING works. I have soaked them to try to strip them and it just doesn’t work. I ordered these as a pickup item. Had I been in store to check them out myself I would have never purchased the blue color ones. Just make sure to give them a sniff test.

We loved these towels, super soft and super plush. Then we washed them. We bought two of them and they completely fell apart. We have a high end Samsung washer and we have never had another towel fall apart like these did. Almost ordered 8 more because they were so soft, good thing we washed the towels we had first! Great towels if you never need to wash them.

I've bought many towels in the span of 4 decades, and these towels are my favorite. We've been using this brand for over a decade, and our towels have lasted that long! Still in great shape. I recently ordered 6 more as our family is growing. I wouldn't buy another brand. Best quality and the best and affordable price.

I got these towels for my son for college because of the size (he is 6’5”) and the cost. He has been out of college for 2 years now and still using them. They look as good as day one. I wish that they still offered the red because I would like them for my bathroom.

Bought these in three different colors. One of the colors shed like crazy during the first wash. Not even shed, more like exploded. I'm just going to throw it away before I ruin my washer by trying to wash it again. But the other two colors were perfectly fine. Who knows how that works...

This is my second time I have purchased these towels from Sam's club on a whim. They are so thick and absorbent and just feel so much better from the old towels I have, I didn't realize how bad they were. I have washed with just detergent only, no softener no additives just the detergent. I then dried with wool balls and I have nowith just detergent only, no softener no additives just the detergent. I then dried with wool balls and I have no problems. When I see a comment about someone saying they just faded or bleached somehow I can't help but wonder if there were some kind of bleaching residual still in the washer. We love these towels.
