I am a dedicated Michelin fan. I think they are the absolute BEST tires in the world. I bought a set of Michelin Defender 2 tires for my 2020 GMC Terrain, but unfortunately, I was rear-ended on the freeway with less than 1,000 miles on the new tires. The car was declared "Total Loss" by the insurance company. Now, I have to wear down the tires on my replacement car's off-brand tires so I can put Michelins on it. Only then, will I feel safe and satisfied. Thank you for caring enough to make the best product money can buy!

Defender 2's have a smooth ride quality that is very noticeable as compared to regular Defenders. Makes my 97 4Runner have a ride it hasn't had using the original Defender. Very pleased with the looks, ride quality, and performance of the tire. Seems the tread design does not make much noise. My only regret after having tires for eleven weeks! Apparently ran over a piece of 1/2" steel that got inserted into the tire tread. Selling dealer, even with a paid protection plan, plug patched tire with only 1345 miles instead of replacing it? Hope the tire is safe with this repair and doesn't start having issues with belts separating and roaring like a snow tire.

I've used Michelin tires for many years and never had a problem. I have a vibration problem with my Kia (1007 Sportage) and every thing, and I mean everything, has been checked and the last resort was to put 4 new tires on. I put on the same tire that were on the car, Michelins of course. The current tires were near aging out even though they were only about half worn out. So new tires—but the same vibration. Now what do I do. The car has been gone over twice by two different tech, both fully certified and both are stumped. Now what. The tires are great though.

I purchased this set of tires for one of my four Dodge Grand Caravans. I have Micheline tires on all of them both winter and summer tires. I am very satisfied with the performance of all of them. I have used Micheline tires since 2010 on all my vans.

I bought these tires because a friend of mine recently got some. I am extremely pleased with the quiet ride that these tires provide. I'm looking forward to seeing how they perform during next winter season to see how they handle the snow and icy roads.

The Michelin Defender 2 is an excellent upgrade for my 2018 Honda Civic EX-T. They offer great traction, smooth handling, and a quiet, comfortable ride. Wet and dry performance is impressive, and the ride feels more refined. With an 80,000-mile tread life, they seem durable and long-lasting. Overall, a solid choice for reliability and comfort.

bought defender 2 tires 2 years ago to replace primacy tires and just replaced tires on another vehicle with with defender 2 tires. Have had no trouble with first set although they are a little rougher tire on ride quality. On ice and wet roads they have provided good traction. Quality of tires seems very good Only downside is smoothness of ride is not as comfortable as the primacy tires were. Overall are a strong preforming tire

I originally purchased a set of Goodyear Assurance Max Life tires in September. After putting 8,000 miles on them, I just wasn't happy with them, especially after the first heavy rain. America's tire bought the Good Years back and sold me this set of Michelins. I could feel the difference almost immediately. After almost a week on the tires, they are very quiet and smooth, even on rough roads. Have not driven in the rain with them yet, but I am sure they will be excellent. Very happy with these tires.

Reviewed everything I could to make sure mom is set up on something safe. Car O.E tires where Continental Contipro Touring. And they were wonderful but seems like these Michelin Defender 2 tired are going to take the Cake! Especially on the roads she's on. They gotta handle well in rain and snow definitely Michelin does both well. Hope the 80k hold up. The Tred is very thick and built well. Good for dirt roads as well. Very responsive on hiway. Thanks Michelin, for keeping mom safe!

I was looking for a “quiet” tire and Michelin Defender II answered the call. Because of excessive “road noise” I was hearing AFTER I replaced my tires three year ago I thought I needed new rear wheel bearings. Due to the cost, I “road it out” with the last set of tires. Recently I decided to get new tires then replace the bearings. I drove a block on the new Michelin Defender II's and amazingly the “road noise” was gone! I highly recommend Michelin Defender II if your looking for a quiet and dependable tire.
