It seemed on the light side for a Cabernet Sauvignon and the dry tannins lingered in my mouth. Overall it was good, but it didn’t seem especially extraordinary. I’m not likely to repurchase.

Initially, right after pouring, the wine had a flat, muted profile. However, after allowing it to rest, the transformation was amazing. The flavors became vibrant, sharp yet smooth, without any harshness. I envision this Cabernet pairing perfectly with a lamb chop, roasted potatoes, and brussels sprouts. I will absolutely buy it again!

So for others that are like me I offer the following. As I first poured this wine I noticed how deep red it is. And as I tasted it it really gave my mouth that thick full feeling. As I swallowed it left a little after taste but mostly dry, nothing left. I don’t know flavor profiles, or notes or any of that stuff they say. But I do know it washes down marinara and red meat extremely well. Cheers.

It’s very smooth with soft tannins, with lots of dark fruits - specifically plums and dried cherries. I enjoyed a glass of with a ribeye and it paired wonderfully. I think it would go well with other red meat dishes and rich, chocolatey desserts. Price was good for this quality, and the label looks elegant and classy. I will definitely purchase another bottle.

So, let’s talk about the good stuff – Josh Family Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, straight outta California's North Coast. Picture this: cool coastal breezes, sunny days, and some seriously tasty grapes. That's the magic behind this wine. Think dark fruits, toasted nuts, a hint of blackcurrant, and even a whiff of rose petal. It's like a flavor party in your glass! I took a sip and loved it! Rich flavors of dark cherries, hazelnuts, and a dash of mocha hit my taste buds, with just a hint of vanilla sweetness. Also very smooth. I strongly suggest to pair with some braised short ribs, sautéed portobello mushrooms, or a juicy steak. It's downright delicious. Cheers to that!

It is smooth and nutty and is wonderful alone but would also pair well with a charcuterie board or chocolate. The bottle is so elegant and beautiful and would make a great hostess gift.

This one is Josh Reserve North Coast red wine, a little bit sour and medium dry sweet. Perfect balance and good for red meat, cheese, and salami. I have a different taste and prefer a different Josh wine. But, this one is still good.

This is something you can take to a dinner party or a night with friends. I am not a big wine connoisseur, but I do enjoy having a glass of wine with dinner or friends every once in a while. This one did not disappoint. It gave me a very nice smooth red wine that didn’t cause me to have any kind of stomach burn or ill taste whenever I drank it. This is very reasonably priced and something that I would see myself buying again in the future.
