[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The smell of Dreft is the smell of a baby. For me, it is anyway. I have two children. For my first child, we spared no expense and did all the things you have to do for a baby. One of those things was washing his clothes in Dreft. It always did a great job and we used it until he was probably 3 years old. For our second child, we weren't as adamant about a lot of things. One of those was our washing detergent. I'm not a fan of smells so I always use a detergent that is free of dyes and perfumes. I figured this detergent would be good enough for our new baby's clothes. Early on I realized that the detergent we used wasn't getting out all of the stains associated with baby and we decided to give Dreft a try again. When I did my first load with Dreft I was immediate struck by the smell. That was the smell of our first child. So the nostalgia was cool but it also did a better job of getting the clothes clean.

The clean fresh scent of Dreft has got to be one of my favorite aspects. Plus, it cleans even things I thought were destined for the trash. It makes our budget stretch so much farther. I received this product for free in exchange for my review. All opinions are my own and 100% honest.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a first-time mom and I just love that fresh baby smell that you get with Dreft detergent. But even more than that, I like that it helps get the typical stains out of her clothes—diaper messes, grass stains, and whatever she picks up along the way. I initially chose Dreft because it is hypoallergenic and gentle on baby's skin and I will keep using it for the foreseeable future because it really works great.

I can’t get over the scent of this detergent. It has that newborn powdery baby smell and it lingers on the clothes long after the baby has worn them. I usually rewash with this after one wear regardless, but a little bit goes a long way, and it last and thoroughly cleans my baby’s clothing.

The Dreft Stage 1: Newborn Liquid Detergent not only cleaned everything on my baby's little clothes, blankets and sheets, but also left everything very soft. This is an awesome detergent, and because it is so gentle and free of anything harmful, I feel good about using it and I know it won't cause irritation to my baby's new skin. I highly recommend this to anyone with a newborn. Yes, it's that good.

The smell is really great it smells like a baby of course. But I don’t feel comfortable in having my new born in clothes with such a strong scent I can’t imagine all the chemicals so close to their little bodies now use an all natural baby detergent or I use a scent free one so much better for your babies than this crap. It does smell good though

I love that the hypoallergenic formula makes it tough on the stains but gentle on my baby's skin. My absolute favorite is the scent of the clothing after washing. It's the same scent as my baby and I love it so much that I use it to wash my own clothing too. Will definitely buy more for washing all our clothing at home.

Other detergents were irritating my son's skin, but not Dreft. Not only does it work well on their skin, it smells amazing! Would highly recommend to any new parent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Dreft Stage:1 for newborns. Here are a few things I would like to tell you about it. -It is able to be used in both regular washers and HE washers. -I always hang dry my little ones clothes and the clothes were still soft. -Also although I am not quite sure if my 6 month old has sensitive skin yet or not, I did not notice any issues with that. -As soon as I opened the Dreft I could smell the scent, which is amazing. Even after hang drying the clothes, I could still smell the scent from the detergent. Still smelled great. If however you are one who does not like scented things, this may not be for you, but if you like scented things, you will LOVE the smell of Dreft! - I gave it 4 stars ONLY because I did NOT get to test it out on stains, but I can say that an OLD stain that was in a white burp cloth was still there. --------------In ending, I did like the Dreft detergent.
