Easy install. 48” opening works great. Definitely recommend. Bad reviews are probably from people that do not know the difference between a hammer and a screwdriver.

We have had this gate up for only a few days but so far we are happy with it. Installation was fairly simple and the gate seems to be sturdy and effective.

It's large enough for the doorway going into the kitchen. Now the dogs are kept out when we are not in there.. Very sturdy and easy to use and easy to put together..

It was easy to install. It keeps my kids out of the kitchen like it's suppose to.and its very easy to open up with one hand, because your other arm is holding laundry or whatever.

This is what I was looking for, wide enough to block off the entry hall 6 feet wide, and a dinning room area; keeps the little one out of unwanted areas. My wife likes them and that is what counts less stress on her.

I recently purchased this gate to fit a 52 inch opening I had and was very upset to find out that with all the extension's attached, it does not reach up to the 58 inches that it states. I will not recommend this brand or gate to anyone.

I purchased this gate for my granddaughter. She is very pleased with it and said it will serve her needs well. She said it was sturdy and easy to use and install.

We got this to keep our puppies inside the kitchen. It was difficult to find a gate wide enough, but this covered the 58”inch gap we needed it for. They are sturdy, easy to work, and just right for us.

I only give it a three because it works in my kitchen.Was slightly bent and did not come with the extensions as listed. So did not fit where I needed it to.

Sturdy design and nice value for the money. Locking mechanism is OK but could be better. So far its working out great. Did not use permanent mount and has not budged since install.
