I purchased this gate for the purpose of keeping the puppy contained. The slats are two far apart and he was able to crawl through. The gate itself is made cheaply and latch doe not work properly. Not a good buy.

It was wide enough for my kitchen entry into the family room! It was easy to put together! It was sturdy enough to hold my dogs back and the gate was easy in easy out!

Works great to keep my puppies on the patio without having to make holes in the brick and wood. Can be opened with one hand if not in the locked position.

We got this to keep our puppies inside the kitchen. It was difficult to find a gate wide enough, but this covered the 58”inch gap we needed it for. They are sturdy, easy to work, and just right for us.

It is very hard to find a wide. “ top of the stairs” gate. My nerves were shot with all other purchases. This has given me piece of mind!,. It is wonderful. Thank you Walmart. As always

We bought this gate to use once in a while to block 2 two year olds from the porch to the swimming pool, so we have only used it once, but it was Very, Very Easy to set up and take down. Saw no problems or anything to complain about.

this "extra wide" gate isn't wide enough for our den. The measurement are wrong on this. Came up 3 inches short. I paid the extra money to get extra wide and now it is useless to me.

Easy to install. Easy for an adult to open with one hand. A child may need two hands to open. It keeps the dog out of the living room. Very happy with this gate.

I recently purchased this gate to fit a 52 inch opening I had and was very upset to find out that with all the extension's attached, it does not reach up to the 58 inches that it states. I will not recommend this brand or gate to anyone.

I only give it a three because it works in my kitchen. Was slightly bent and did not come with the extensions as listed. So did not fit where I needed it to.
