Great color!! Great quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I mainly bought this for the grey color but have been so extremely happy with the durability and quality of the chair. It had not faded or worn at all in the sun. Can't go wrong with lifetime products

Poor Design

This is a fine chair when assembled but good luck getting to that point. The pre drilled holes are mostly misaligned. You will need to drill your own holes to have half a chance at completing the job. I did two (approximately 2 hrs each) and returned the other two to Costco. Save yourself a lot of aggravation by buying another product.

Nice Chair BUT NO REPLACEMENT PARTS???

Have had 2 of these adirondack chairs (model 60064) for about 3-4 years now. Was very happy with the chairs, but over the winter one of the chairs had two slats break (one of the breaks also cracked the base/leg support where the screws connect). No big deal I thought, should be able to just order a couple replacement parts and be back to working order...especially considering the same model is still for sale on their website. Was actually going to order a couple extra just to have on hand in case it happened again. Nope, apparently they don't have any slats for sale for that model because it's a common problem. Hmmmm, well if they still make this model and it's a common problem, one would think you could still get the parts to fix it. Not very happy at all about this. If the model was discontinued, at least I would understand, but it's a current model. Heck, I'd even take a rough length board and cut and drill the slats myself. Not expecting a "Lifetime" guarantee, but it's a misnomer to call it Lifetime when it's more like sorry, you are out of your 2 year warranty period, just buy a new one.

A Lot of Chair for the Money

We purchased these for a mountain cabin. We are very pleased and feel we got a lot of chair for the money. I recommend you use an electric screwdriver, chucked with a #4 Hex and DO NOT OVERIGHTEN. I'm willing to bet a lot of the issues folks encounter happen when they tighten the screws too far. For whatever reason, my chair did not have instructions so I downloaded them from this site. When you assemble the chair your screws are in a package. You will notice there are four screws longer than the rest. Those are the last screws you use. If you try to put one in a hole intended for the smaller screw you will certainly damage the chair. I wish you made some other items in the Adirondack style, such as a lounger, footstool and tables. I would buy them.

Defective material cracked slats

We bought 4 chairs 6 years ago and this year half the slats started cracking. We keep them indoors during winter so not exposed year around. We thought they had a lifetime warranty when we purchased but no. They said we have to buy new replacement slates. The tables we bought are warping snd cracking too. Bad material that doesn’t last. Very disappointing in light of the price we paid.

We're sorry for the confusion. Lifetime is the name of our company, not the length of our warranty. Lifetime Adirondack Chairs are warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of original retail purchase. Defects resulting from acts of nature (weather), misuse, abuse or negligence are not covered under warranty. That being said, we would love to work with you on this, as well as your tables. Please email reviews@lifetime.com so we can look into this further with you.

Only good for two years. No replacement parts available.

The seat slat broke, and my chair was out of warranty, so I called the “parts” department to purchase a replacement, and was told no replacement parts could be provided. So a $200 chair only good for two years.... They said I should just buy a new chair....seriously. Lifetime just lost me as a customer.

Good Outdoor Chair Furniture

This product is exactly what it was supposed to be and seems to be good quality. The single drawback is that the assembly hardware (screws and tools) is cheap and soft. Buy the chair, but do yourself a favor and take the supplied hardware to the hardware store to match up sizes, and replace the hardware with new high quality hardware before you begin assembly.

Overall ok chairs

We purchased these chairs a couple of years ago and within the first year, one of the chair backs busted with a ball hit it. It cracked right at the screw which are too short. It was an unfortunate accident. I wish I could say the squirrels didn't like the material as much but overall, we have been pleased with how they have withstood the weather in OH.

Manufacturing flaw.

I bought this chair a week ago and assembled it today. The assembly was hard at the end because holes on the right arm pieces were drilled out of alignment so I could not attach the arm without drilling some new holes. When assembled, it's very comfortable.
