I purchased 2 of these a little over a year ago. The chairs are very sturdy, which I like, but after noticing some color on back of my shorts after sitting in them recently, I wiped them down with a gentle microfiber towel dipped in a dawn dish detergent/water mix thinking maybe the chair was dirty. When drying the chair off, I realized the color was coming off. I only used a little soap/water, so nothing harsh and I kept them covered during winter under waterproof chair covers under a patio cover during winter. I only noticed it because I was wearing light colored shorts. Although I like how these chairs feel, I can't have people use them knowing the color will stain their clothes. Really disappointing something like this is happening. I see from other reviews, it's not just me either.

This is a fine chair when assembled but good luck getting to that point. The pre drilled holes are mostly misaligned. You will need to drill your own holes to have half a chance at completing the job. I did two (approximately 2 hrs each) and returned the other two to Costco. Save yourself a lot of aggravation by buying another product.

There is a nice coating over the pressed board which makes it easy to clean. The arms of this chair are nice and wide. The assembly was a little difficul, and that's why I have it 4 stars. Some of the holes were misaligned making it harder to turn he L or Alan wrench that came with the assembly pack. So you want to have some hand strength to assemble this. It's heavy duty and not meant to be moved around too much, but I'm lightweight and I'm still able to move it to a different area if I need to mow the lawn. So far, very happy with this product. Way Better than the cheap plastic ones that break every year. I plan to have this one for years to come. (This product was sent to me for an unbiased review) with that being said, I would still recommend this product to my friends or family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this chair about a month and after putting it together placed it in our family room to try it out and it has remained there ever since. It is comfortable and our whole family loves it not to mention our visitors. Super easy to put together. It looks like real wood, yet won't weather and splinter. Easy to clean. It is also heavy enough so that the wind can't blown it over. Very sturdy and well built. So much better than my plastic ones that blow over, crack easily and sun rot. We plan on getting a few more. These would also make great pool side chairs or to use in the outdoors at a cabin or recreational site. You won't be disappointed with this one.

Loved the look of these chairs but shortly after beginning to use them the seat slats began breaking - and we are all thin and do not have children climbing on the chairs!!! Very disappointed to have them break so easily! We bought 4 of these chairs!!!

We bought the chair a little over 2 years ago. One of the bottom seat slats cracked. Evidently the name "Lifetime" is only a name. I was told we had to purchase a new part, no warranty, and that you cannot buy just the one slat. Rather, you must buy the whole bottom section. Extremely disappointed in the product and company not backing their product

I purchased 2 Adirondack chairs 2 years ago. They are attractive and maintenance free. My gardener was rough with one as he was cutting the grass and one leg cracked. Lifetime replaced the broken piece...no questions asked. Hubby installed it and we are continuing to enjoy our chairs. Thanks so much!

Great chairs. Yes, construction is tedious - a lot of screws! But a lot of screws contribute to strength in the chair, so not a problem for me. My only issue is that the squirrels attacked all eight arms of my four chairs and chewed them up! So I am knocking off one star. Lucky for me, Lifetime Products does provide replacement parts. I need to figure out how to add some metal tape to the edges of the new arms to squirrel-proof them.

Purchased 2 of the gray chairs. We had them in a week. Easy assembly with simple to follow instructions. One caution on the first assembly step do tighten the bottom screw on the two outer back slats before installing the back to the bottom. You cannot them after assembly.

I love everything about these chairs except critters eat the edges of the arm rests and slats that you sit on. Call Lifetime and they said to spray every month with Critter Ritter, but that's a pain in the neck. I have them at my cabin which i don't to every month, especially in the winter. Tried to add a jpeg photo, but this system who do it.
