Happy in my chair
5 out of 5 stars review

Great chair!

Excellent chairs! My wife and I sit out on the lawn, in these, every afternoon! We added some generic patio furniture cushions and I lashed an inexpensive beach umbrella between the backrest and arm, which made them even more comfortable, even in the mid-day sun. That might be an idea for an upgrade--drill a mounting hole and add a clamp on the back support, or armrest, for an umbrella. PLEASE make some matching Adirondack footstools/ottomans!

Very high quality chairs with low quality screws

Really happy with these chairs and assume they will last forever and be much more maintenance free than wood or painted surfaces. Assembly was not bad but I am above average mechanically. The only improvement than should be made is the screws, they are soft. So is the metal hex head tools that come with it. The screw heads round out very easily and so does the wrench. I used a drill and my own bit but had to be very careful to keep it lined up straight and keep from having any screw on a bind. One wrong move and the screw strips out and becomes useless. Also, it would be helpful if there was more of a point on the screw to help find the hole. The pre-drilled holes here lined up well. Be sure to only screw in each screw part way until the whole chair is assembled, then go back and tighten them all. Just be very care with the screws at all time. Very high quality chairs with very low quality screws

Nibbling Knocks off One Star

Great chairs. Yes, construction is tedious - a lot of screws! But a lot of screws contribute to strength in the chair, so not a problem for me. My only issue is that the squirrels attacked all eight arms of my four chairs and chewed them up! So I am knocking off one star. Lucky for me, Lifetime Products does provide replacement parts. I need to figure out how to add some metal tape to the edges of the new arms to squirrel-proof them.

Best Chairs ever!!

Bought these chairs about 2 years ago after having gone through several other products. We live in New Hampshire and have these chairs on our front lawn. We've left these chairs out for 2 New England winters and they look like the day we bought them!! I can't say enough about them and would buy them again.

Completely comfortable.

I have had two Adirondack chairs that were priced right, great comfort level, and are great looking. I leave them out all year round. Nice to sit outside in the sun on a winters day too. Recently a couple of seats slats broke on both chairs. I placed a call to Lifetime and was pleasantly surprised to have sent to me, free of charge, replacement seat parts. I am so pleased with the Lifetime product, I have recently purchased an outside Adirondack table.

Not a quality product

We bought the chair a little over 2 years ago. One of the bottom seat slats cracked. Evidently the name "Lifetime" is only a name. I was told we had to purchase a new part, no warranty, and that you cannot buy just the one slat. Rather, you must buy the whole bottom section. Extremely disappointed in the product and company not backing their product

Thanks for your feedback! The Adirondack Chair does come with a 1-year warranty. We have also changed manufacturing facilities, which should resolve the problems with the broken seat slats.

Good chair but sometimes breaks!

I have purchased at least 10 chairs from this company. Overall, it's a good product but when one breaks (and two have so far) it's really difficult to get parts. One chair has been in our back office for over six months waiting for the correct parts to replace the broken ones, they finally just arrived. Parts were ordered over six weeks ago for the other one and still no parts have arrived. When they described "lifetime" I assumed they would last more than 2 or 3 years and the parts procurement is horrible.

We apologize for the delay in shipping your parts out. We are in our busiest time of the year, and our shipping department is behind. We are doing our best to get all orders out as quickly as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience!

Tip to keep them looking like new

I bought two of these chairs one year ago and bought two more this year. I liked them that much! But I noticed the older ones looked sun faded and had little finger prints, etc, on them. I took some Pledge furniture polish and sprayed it on them and wiped them down and they look just like new again!! Do this in the shade. There is no residual oiliness at all just smooth and soft again. Great looking chairs!! And soooo comfortable.
